Sulfur for "skunk" smell/taste

have found this on Authentics Genetics — " adding sulfur to your medium(soil) will bring out “skunk” smell/taste > interesting - can see it because sulfur does smell itself. will try it But have to get the amounts down so one doesn’t hurt the plant (sulfur overload) sulfur at week 7 will start process -this is above a beyond any sulfur additive/bloom fertilizer that one’s uses’ in flower stage --thoughts ??? here is one to consider “Silver Bullet” by Key to Life

More accurately, it’s thiols in cannabis that bring the skunk, and I do believe it’s the presence of sulfur that boosts thiols.

For sulfur i use Epsom salt - magnesium sulfate.
And Gypsum
The epsom gets watered in.
Gypsum - calcium sulfate I buy as a dry amendment for top dressing. :v:

Most nutrients will have some form of sulphur in the bloom additives.

I’ve been wanting to try this too after reading Dominion saying to hit certain strains with sulfur around week 5 to really bring out the stink.

Can confirm. I use a pinch of epsom in every plant, and Dominion G was absolutely funkier and skunkier after adding.

there is a spray that one company offers a RKS" spray - will get the info

if feel that is right - sulfur itself smells like rotten /acidic have silver bullet will get the info onuse

hunbolt country own has a “sonic bloom” which is suffur

sounds good at week five it’s in late bloom -use from wk 5 to wk 7

FWIW
I do not think that sulfur amplifies only skunk type flowers, to me it seems to enhance the flavor of any type of cannabis,
I quit using flower type nutrients with high P a while ago, so I went with Jack’s Citrus FeEd (20-10-20) which coincidentally has almost 5% sulfur. All of my flowers seemed to taste better and louder.

A lot of people are already using sulfates so they get plenty of sulfur.

When i last did rdwc i used lotus brand nutrients. If i recall correctly the “end flush” product called carbo flush or something was all sulfer.
Terpinator i believe is exactly the same thing in liquid form

Sulfur definitely enhances smell but I personally don’t believe that is why skunk is gone missing

Terpinator is potassium sulfate.

Like gh ripen is high in k , without the adequate p , plant can only finish ( no more new white hairs / foxtailing )

Potassium sulphate at the end is a good choice ( two birds one stone etc )

terpinator is used primary to increase terpene development , ect there is another product by them called Purpinator which increases oils and color and is used in flower. But they also can be used in the Veg stage also Hey ; consider this product for the end flush “FOOP Sweetener” it has - Yacon syrup, Sorghum syrup, Muscovado syrup, coconut sugar, raw agave nectar date blackstrap molasses, raw honey This product is used for an explosion of trichomes - ca use in veg and bloom aother big result of use is taste(sweet, ect) and in a very big way Might work better than carbo flush

I just “flush” with Epsom salts. Use alongside any PK from about week 5.
Big dose a couple of weeks before finish usually gives a few nice purple hues
