Santero told me it was from the Choco D. I’ve been worried about using the males to make seeds. I’m not sure how it would affect any crosses. Sam may know by now if he got an unusual number of males from the crosses he made.
Santero said he’d gotten a female and it was to die for. So, I don’t know what happened to it. I got all males from one pack and Sam sent me 5 to try again.
Next time I’ll try some banana or apple slices to put with the seedings to see if I can get the ethylene to do it. Man, I’d love to have a couple of females of that mix.
They gas off ethylene and is supposed to ensure the seedling will turn female. I’ve never read the science behind it so I don’t know how true it really is.
I will say that I came up with three out of three females. One may be male but I don’t think so. If I do get a male then my experiment won’t tell me much since that would be normal results.
I decided it wouldn’t hurt since I really wanted to get some nice females to fill jars! I had the apples already. Bananas may be a better source but I need to read up on it.
Ive experimented my self with some of these tales.
So far my results are inconclusive, and I’m one to allow for presumptive conclusion.
Rather than be it’s not scientific till concluded.
The experiments I undertook where towards lower temps with higher humidity (this is hard to achieve and was one of the reasons I put on back burner) But my research mainly stopped because of a not stable growing environment.
My main crop is normally tweaked accordingly, but trying to keep lab conditions in this house with the changing of seasons would probably involve a bulldozer and then a lot of bricks and mortar.
When I moved in I had some phenylalanine a friend give me, while I was tripping I got it in my head ,could someone have just come along in the night and threw a shanti up
R.I.P Alexander shulgin
Higher nitrogen and lower hours were in mix too. And more blue light.
see the other thing is I can only see you getting close to a conclusion if you use something which is homogenous.
I do try to use more blue if possible and keep temps lower with some persieved success.
But as I’m always moving on to next strain don’t think I’ve the patience, resources or years left to consider going further for now
So decided to try something new… using my air pump to move the water and agitate the material… seems to be working well… couldnt find anything online with peeps doing hash this way…? Bubbled bubble hahaha … this stuff is insanely sticky
Ahh, professor Sun, I need to consult with you at some point. I have a lot of dry stuff I need to do first.
I know very little about ice hash but I like the idea of oxygen. Isn’t that why Oxyclean works so well? Oxygen dislodges the grime?
I need to re read that about the pump. The result sure looks legit. Which highway do I take to get to your place once I get to the Atlantic? Should only take me a week to drive it from southern Colorado. Want me to pick up some burgers and beer on the way?
Oh, not sure if you smoked any cured WC/Gel/Dosi yet but it only gets better with age. Man, it is a terpene bonanza.
My environment makes it hard to dry and cure bud really well unless I only have a small amount. This strain came out really nice where I had strange results on 5 others in the end from too cold temps for the roots in the space. This plant stayed short too, and the others that were short suffered the worst.
Other than my herm thing early, my fault likely, and it never came back, this strain was most durable of them all. The buds all have nice density and super tasty buds that seem to only get better.
I think I’m going to grow the clone right away outside. It always tastes so good. Strong, too.
Yea the Wedding Cake Gelato x Dosidos was one of the dankest too this year… solid strong plants and very resistant… have a mother backed up which im happy for.
Ive been smoking it the passed week
