Hey all. Got all the cards done (of the first 20 on the list) that I had info for.
There are 6-8 people in the first 20 on the list that have not sent me their info yet.
If you are one of the top 20 names on the list and haven’t sent me your info yet, please do.

I often check out here at what point you are with the list because I’m very interested. If I had been on top of the list I would have done it even more.
One person may have had net problem, another has been sick, but 6-8 is a lot. It’s a bit of a trend here unfortunately and I say that I participate a lot in this type of event.

6-8 should have a time limit … you shouldnt be after them, but the other way around… or first come first serve in groups of 20…Overgrow should make it easier, and have everyone’s address linked to our account, to where we dont have to do anything but sign up… even if a low fee subscription service

There has to be a way to make it easier, especially for the breeder… i get stressed over a few trades, and keeping up with it, could only imagine taking on these tasks over and over… all depends on your level of privacy… dont know exactly how it works, but deserves some level of income for their efforts and traffic it brings to the site
This is is a good idea for those w little spare time.
Though most of us value privacy over convenience.
The act of DMing w members to get their addresses is socializing as a part of the weed-growing hobby.
Meaning i made time for DM-ing w 64+ members all over the world. (When i did the Black Lotus F2 giveaway.)
It is time consuming but i enjoyed chatting w many OG folks i didn’t know before.

I don’t like that people subscribe to the wiki and then they don’t care, but I like this idea even less. This automatic way It would cut every relationship which is the most beautiful part. I have met many people here in this way.
Usually a breeder knows is own projects, his own works and he already knows what he’s looking for. It means that he doesn’t need to stay all day trading all the seeds or partecipating to every giveaway. He doesn’t need to automating his choices. It would only be useful for those who are seed catchers or those who do it for commercial purposes.

I think you can do it. Anyway he is serving the top 20 on the list. We have to wait because we are about eightieths.

I was thinking about this after I made that post last night.
I really appreciate the people like you checking in but that also doesn’t seem like the best way for me to do this. I don’t want people to have to be constantly glued to this thread to get their seeds.
For the next 20 on the list I am going to try and see if I am able to go into the list and copy + paste the names here to tag them and ask for them to send me their info.
If that works, I think that will be a much easier way to do this list.
This is my first time doing this so I am learning what works best in real time. lol
I’d just have everyone send at once but I think that would be overwhelming for me. I’m having trouble just trying to keep 20 names at a time sorted.

Also, all the international spots on the list are filled for now.
I count 19 international members currently on the list.
We are at 100 spots total. So 20-21 more left for now. USA only for the last names, please.
I will try to do more international depending on how many seeds I have left after getting through the list.

I am not 100% sure but I think these might be the 7 people’s info that I am missing.
Also, it looks like it does work for me to copy + paste the names off the list into a post to tag members. So that will be how I do it going forward.
That will be much easier. Then people don’t have to watch the thread. That’s not fair for people to have to do,

I think the biggest issue is the PM system here needs a complete overhaul so we can actually SEE the names of the members in each PM from the message overview list.
Having to go off hovering over avatars or memorizing peoples avatars or the poor poor @ search system in there is just… annoying. Makes it really hard to find and sort through PM’s. I’ve gotten to just putting my and/or their nick in the title of the pm just to make looking through the messages easier.
Probably my #1 gripe about OG’s/Discourse’s UI.
And yeah I’d go with a time limit. People have had a week or more to get their address to you. If they can’t do it, i’d move on to the next group. Maybe they get back to you and you still have beans

I am on a tablet so it’s the mobile version. I can’t even hover over an avatar to see the screen name.
And if I was the last to PM it shows my avatar, not the other person’s.
I need to physically click on every PM to see who sent it. And I have lots of PM conversations that are not related to the ssdd giveaway list so that makes things even more confusing to keep sorted.
That’s why I asked everyone to put their screen name and # on the list as the title of the PM. It’s been super helpful in keeping everything sorted for me.
