Sunshine Daydream f1 open pollination

Hey @TeddyNuggets , My letter showed up yesterday pilferaged by postal worker-thiever.
Fortunatly they had no Idea what they had. They re-sleved the card and sent it on.
Thanks Sir, respectfully,

So everything was still in there?

No, not really.

Some of the others (like #9 and #10) has that more distinct butter smell (like buttery popcorn has, but more like buttered muffins).

With horse’s cut I’m not sure what word to use. I’ll try to better describe it when I harvest it (and when I eventually smoke it for the first time).

Horsebadorites is the better person to describe it anyway. Much more experience with it than me!

Sure was Teddy but the envelope was torn open full width. Ripped on the bottom a little. So, I assume letter carrier opened looking for $ but went on and processed it
Awsome letter tho, Thanks Mr.

Oh, btw I had 1 person’s card returned to me. I’m not sure exactly why. It said postage but it was well below the 28 gram limit.

It had non-machinable stamped on it. Could that be why?

I mailed it the exact same way I’ve mailed every other letter, so I don’t know why this one came back.

It had to be someone’s on the list (it wasn’t a trade as it only has 1 puck in it). I might need to give some hints so that person can send me their info again if I can’t get the postage sticker off that they covered 1/2 the address with.

As for the next set of letters (41-60), I am going to try to get them done today. It was a super busy week for me and I didn’t have a chance to work on any letters yet.

@TeddyNuggets , I just did ten and it took awhile. With all that you’re doing I can’t imagine the time frame. Good luck. Play some music and light up a sativa j…

Yes. Non-machinable requires either 1 non-machinable forever stamp with a purple butterfly on it, or it requires 2 domestic regular letter mail forever stamps.

1 non-machinble stamp costs less than 2 regular mail stamps.

I sent things that cost to my but my main concern is they don’t get crushed
Some peeps say I pay to much sometimes but it’s only quarters usually
I try that tracker

Thanks for the info! I thought you could get it hand stamped non machinable for free but I guess not.

From this link, it sounds like I should’ve been using non-machinable stamps for every letter.

Oops! :joy:

So does anyone know, can I just add a second stamp to the envelope they returned? (If I can get that “returned for postage” sticker off)
Or do I need to write out a new envelope and use 2 new stamps?

You can probably just use the one forever stamp and not worry about the non-machinable stamp. Mine definitely went through the rollers and the puck held up just fine.

I’m guessing that you need to use a new stamp since that one has the ink on it

I would ask at the PO when you make a run for stamps.

Yes, just add the additional postage and, cross out the “postage due” sticker… don’t remove that sticker, so they know it is not cancelled and just needed extra postage

Nice. Thanks! Appreciate you finding that info for me!

My only worry is will they be able to deliver it to the shipping address with that “returned for postage” sticker covering a portion of the address?

Maybe I should just take it to the post office and ask them. Or just repackage it in a new envelope.

I would take it to the PO and ask, but the PO is only a mile from me. It’s not out of my way to go there.

To me it was like buttered cornbread muffins with underlying sour and herbaceous notes

Not really, that’s why I sent it to you  I’ve described it as acrid, but I now think sour is the better word. It’s not a harsh smell/taste like acrid, but more tangy like something sour, and there’s also some incensy thing in the back… maybe sour butter? I also don’t get muffins, but more like hot yeasty dinner rolls with a smear of berry jam :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Got cards 41-60 and the cards for the few more trades all written out and almost ready to go. Seed pucks are all packed and taped in the cards too. I just need to put postage on the envelopes and tape them shut. I plan to do it today after work and hopefully get them in the mailbox tonight.

As soon as I do that I’ll tag 61-80.

Oh, and if anyone wants to see harvest pics of the peanut butter breath mom I posted them in my grow thread…

No dispensaries here, or weed acceptance, so experience with different strains is limited. I’ve been growing this cut for the last 5 years, and no one is tired of it, yet. I’ve grown out a bunch of other good stuff, but she’s the one everyone wants more of. Glad to pass her around!
