Bat Shit Crazy
As some of you might already know (my last moose shit pickup) - it’s tough for me to pass up free high-quality natural fertilizer. I’m always up for a natural harvest - weather it’s wild harvested flora / fauna for fpj or just shit.
Taking a walk on our nearby service roads and I found this bridge - I took a peek under and found these strange piles in rows.
After closer inspection I discovered this was bat guano which was dropping from their home above.
Of course I had to return with a bucket a shovel and a respirator. This is dry outdoor - I’m not too worried about the feces being unhealthy to handle. But can never be too careful.
Looks like mouse shit -
I scooped it off the small cement ledge - and harvested about 3 Litres - which will be mixed into some soil for the next upotting for my A1 Blackout Lemonaid flower run. I will do some pots with and some without.
