Looks awesome hope its potent yield looks very small. Are they dense and heavy, looks can be deceiving. Eitherway nice buds man, i like the silvery sheen.

I’d consider everything dense except the 5150 TK x TK #3 from this run. That one is more on the spongy / airy side. I don’t chase yield but I am OK with the yield on everything for my own uses.

I wouldn’t really call the TK a low yielder, but I also only grow for myself and I don’t sell Cannabis. I imagine someone approaching it from the commercial side of things may view things differently. I don’t seek out high yielding strains ever over here.

Grown in a 5 1/2" pot under only 300w of LED seems to provide a good amount of bud for the space occupied though. I’ll try to remember to weigh one of the plants once dried. Triple Sunshine (the full plant shot in that post) produces smaller more conical buds than the TK and is probably even less viable for those who value yield.

Nice man Im the same way could care less about yield. My favorite plant on a good day yields 10 grams lol. Im also running about 300 watts led most the time. Well it wasnt too bad then for your size pot. Enjoy your harvest

Had to cut down the seedlings for the 3rd or 4th time - they’re still in their little 3" pots and doing OK. A definite advantage for salts/coco there. They actually dried out a few times to such an extreme level that I wasn’t sure that some of them would rebound.

Culled a few of them that were clearly male. One was even dropping pollen.

1 or 2 SSDD F1s are showing female - the others are unknown.

1 GG4xSSDD is unknown still , the rest were all males
3 GSC x SSDD are unknown -

Not sure what I want to do with these still. I’m using my flower tent to dry the TK stuff right now so they are stuck in this small tent for a bit longer.

I did throw 4 or 5 Malawi seeds in wet paper towels tonight but things are pretty questionable over here right now with family related stuff so who knows if I’ll be able to see it through to the end.

Will probably get some dry flower shots when the time comes, but I won’t be posting too much for a bit probably. Will continue to load OG on my phone so I can always respond if needed.

TK S1 - 2 plants - 22.5G - without stems let’s assume it’s 10g/plant

5150 TK x TK #1 - 8.8G - effortless to trim

TS - didn’t weigh - Still have 2 or 3 TS plants to trim in the coming days - will weigh one of them when done / TK as well.

TK - have more plants of this to trim still in the coming days too

Malawi seedlings have cracked open finally last night but still nothing above ground today. Don’t have a ton of hope for them but will wait it out. Also got the seedlings transplanted into 5.5" pots. Thinking about vegging them and taking cuttings but not sure I want to dedicate that much time. The benefit is I wouldn’t need to support branches at least if I do that…

Thanks, good to see you posting again!

Tried an early sample of the Triple Sunshine last night.

Week 11 Triple Sunshine grown w/ Jacks 321 under less than 300w (dimmer). It’s been a while since I’ve sampled any TS buds so this is a fresh perspective.

2 regular sized bong Hits / not heroic

Major creeper - took 30 minutes to fully kick in.

Deceptively strong - stronger than my soil-grown TK. Stronger than I remember the soil grown TS-A as well but it’s been a while so that’s a bit harder for me to say for sure. I’ve been smoking my last grow of TK a lot lately so I can safely compare it to that one.

Mellow / relaxing / mentally stimulating for 2 hours post consumption. Has a nice stony / zoned out feel to it for me. Was intense around the 45min and that lasted a good 30 minutes+.

2 hour+ duration in total. I’d say it lasted at least 3 hours but the “full” effects were only 2 hours.

I’m excited to see how the jacks TK compares in effect and potency to the previous soil grows. This sample was just dry enough to combust, but not dry enough to put in a sealed jar yet. I’ll sample it more when it’s been in the jars for a few weeks and post thoughts on it again.

Also the stuff from this round doesn’t seem as dense as when grown organically. Doesn’t bother me, just worth noting.

Triple Sunshine - Average weight per plant - 18g - very surprised to see this so high. I think if I had the normal light setup (quantum board + cobs) then it would have been closer to 1oz / plant.

Trimmed one TK plant and it came out at 14g, will need to do a few more though. 1/2 ounce per plant is great in my book for such a small footprint and potsize. No effort to trim either the TK or TS so another huge positive.

Fire my man !
Can’t wait to see if you nailed a strong TK keeper from CSI
I took mine down a couple days ago, gonna be a week or two before sampling.

Thanks! If anything it showed me that plenty of good plants can be found in seeds if needed. Happy with how everything turned out this round.

5150 TK x TK #3 - came out to about 19G. When trimming it had a bit of a Chem 91 look to me.

Triangle Kush x Triple Sunshine - came out to 22.5g , by far the highest yielding of anything this run. No surprise there - the buds were the largest and pretty dense. Very easy to trim and buds look great as well in person.

Youuuuu son of a bitch! Now I really need to get some Jacks and coco. Looks amazing.

Haha, thanks! Everything in person looks pretty good and smells nice as well. To me, the TK x TS, TS, and the TK standout the most. The CSI stuff looks good, but not as good as the FJ cut of TK right now. We’ll see how it smokes in the coming month(s)…

Yeah, it’s really nice and simple, I’m loving it so far! Branches seemed a bit weaker and the buds aren’t as dense but that also could be related to using less light than usual - too many variables going on. I like not having most of the leaves necrotic by the end at least, that seems to make it easier to trim as well… TK appears to be stickier and stronger smelling this go around too.

For me the magnetic stirrer & Erlenmeyer flask as suggested by @Trimeresurus made the whole process much smoother. I’d probably have gotten too annoyed with it all if I were mixing the salts in water by hand still.

I’m done trimming everything except the 5150 TK x TK #1 soil plant… Going to save that one for later.

Average / total weights for plants are :

TK x TS - 22g
5150 TK x TK 3 - 19g
Triple Sunshine 18g
TK - 14g
TK S1 - 10g
5150 TK x TK 1 - 8.8g

Everything is in the acceptable range for me given each pot takes up only 5.5x5.5" in the tent.

Here are a few more pictures

I wonder if it’s because Bodhi used a different TK than the straight TK you’re growing? Is that possible?

It could also just be one of those things that happens when one plant is crossed to another haha.

There’s no way I could know, but I feel like it’s probably the same cut that bodhi and nspecta are using based on the claims of where it was sourced. The effects are similar in many ways, I just think it clearly has some SSDD presence as well in the cross. Before even attempting to speculate I want to sample the TK grown in coco, as well as the CSI stuff. Visually, the TK S1 looks very similar to the TK FJ cut. I’m interested to see how the TK x TS comes out - that looks and smells really attractive in person.

Ultimately I’ll never know though as I’m not “connected”. I like both the TS and TK and am planning on keeping them both around still either way.

Every one of those look like what we called window weed as kids, meaning if you pressed it against glass it would stick :fire::drooling_face:

Right, I didn’t think you’d actually know, just kinda wondering out loud.

Well done, that looks stellar! hope we could smoke some of that right now

Just to be fair to the CSI stuff - the 5150 that was rootbound in soil yielded 22 grams, so while it was the lowest yield in a 12/12 from clone situation, with a little bit of veg it performed fine.
