that’s not one of the rules in this thread 
i absolutely understand the notion, but if you don’t want to share,
then maybe better not share (it here?) … but if you decide to put it on
the table, then it’s maybe better to not have strings attatched to them
(cuz it may be kinda ‘weird’ to attatch conditions/expectations to a gift).

if you get seeds from me, there are NO strings attatched 
you are never obligated to pop them right away
( and you are not obligated to grow them at all).
IF you feel like sharing them on or maybe trading them for some-
thing you are interested in, then go ahead = freedom, baby !!

this personal opinion does not mean, that i condemn other opinons.
i just want to make clear how i see it, so people don’t feel bad to grab
what i freely and happily put on the table, no matter at all who takes it.

Agree with you @santero , I too enjoy freedom as well and I chose to express that freedom by attaching a slight rule/amendment so that more people have the chance to pick a pack left on the table.
To be clear, there’s no strings attached to the seeds I send. Like stated previously, my intention is to share with as much people as possible. They were quick to pick my offers, this time I was quick to edit & add a stipulation, for a fair chance to everyone else here at OG so they may also enjoy.
Again, it was not an attack on the user as they’re free to do what they want and others are free to do what they want with their seeds. I chose to play differently after noticing a super sharp shooter in the thread, only to be fair to others here in this community.

Well said. I too just choose to play less and put my stuff on the table less often due to thread-camping never-showing always-grabbing folks who leave behind what is to me garbage white-label/equivalent. One man’s trash is another’s treasure and that stuff is wonderful for those who like it and want to grow it. For people without a lot of variety it’s nice that they can acquire some in this manner, especially if they’re new to the game. Other people are collectors (I find myself halfway into this category, unfortunately) but I would never consider them “seed goblins” if only for the fact that they show their grows, even occasionally, and make beans of their own to share with the community. Bottom line. I will always honor my commitments and play by the rules. I also find it fair to say that I distrust people who take and take and have yet to post a grow pic of any kind, and I will try to avoid interactions with them when I can. This feeling intensifies when they live almost directly on top of an international border. Personally, I watch this thread a bit but am more comfortable trading privately with people who may have what I like. Sad, because it sort of defeats the purpose of open trade but thems the rules and the lumps!

I fail to see where it’s any of your business what anyone does with the seeds they get from this thread.
Noxon has 168 posts on this part of the thread…so that seems like a heckuva lot of takers for the gear he offers up.
He’s got 168 and you have 13 posts.
I’d say that he is doing more for the thread than you are. In fact I’ve won more than a few from him and have a Genius Juice up in flower right now. Beyond that he has filled in some of the GPS items I missed. He sends his end out, people want what he offers, who gives a rat’s ass how many beans he takes or what he does with them. You and everybody else have the same opportunities. He is providing as much as he takes. His offers go fast. I don’t see the issue with playing by the rules of the thread.
If you do see that as problematic, just use the exit, you don’t have to play here.

He has admitted publically in a post to buying reverse auction GPS seeds for as low as $12 a pack. So if you want herm-prone FEMS from GPS then have at it.
The Greenpoint thread on OG is full of folks who’ve had herms from GPS Fem seeds.
I will not be gambling w those potentially shwag seeds.

I’ve previously held my tongue about GPS Fems herming because i feel everyone should research breeders before they grow them. But i have warned several friends.

I’d say that with that attitude, I have a hard time seeing what you’re “doing for the thread”. “My way or the highway”? There’s your door, buddy. Whether you like it or not, people are free to have opinions and voice them. When I take seeds and leave some, I have not “won” anything. That’s called a trade. May your day be as pleasant as you are.

No problems here mate, just using the freedom/ability to offer seeds to others in the thread who may not be as quick. I’m happy to stay here and participate when/how I like, I don’t see the problem with expressing the desire to share with the other posters in the thread?
I’ve spoken to noxon through PM after they initiated an offer for exchange, I’m happy to talk with folks and exchange seeds, no problem.
As others have stated the seed they have are not homegrow like the majority here offered. Perhaps there can be another thread solely for homemade crosses vs another which exchanges company white label seeds. To me, that sounds like too big of a deal so why not offer some of the seeds won here instead of GPS seeds?
To each their own I say, that’s mostly why I’d felt comfortable adding the amendment to my post, expressing individuality/freedom and sharing my desire for openness to a wider pool of folks playing. Peace~

I took stopped posting in this thread due to @NoXoN and that type of behavior. And if I want to participate again I would surely try best to time my take leave for a time I feel that member is offline or sleeping and couldn’t take them before another member. I don’t care if people sit on seeds I share or eventually trade them out at a later time to others but the fact one member is “bogarting” most of all offers left and leaving what I feel is undesirable stuff has me not participating in this thread anymore. I leave homemade hobbyist crosses and see others leaving similar and sometimes even very desirable retail packs like stuff from CSI. I don’t consider GPS stuff up to that measure personally.
It would be one thing if that member actively participated in other aspects of the forum but one only has to look at the post history to see their motivation. Upon joining they did the bare minimum to achieve TL2 member status which allows posting in here in the trading forum and basically has only participated in this thread ever since. Count up the comments made since their join date and compare how many are in this thread and how many are in other parts of the forum. I would be embarrassed if it was me. Did they join specifically for this thread? It seems to be that way to me.
This thread doesn’t have specific rules prohibiting it but the premise of take a penny leave a penny, which this thread was designed after is to help others who may need something but it seems to have become more akin to “my precious” like Lord of the Rings. That member seems to have plenty, yet the thirst is still not quenched. It’s becoming a hording mentality and to me very off putting and not in the spirit of OG. To me the trading post forums are a gift for members of the community who actually contribute to other aspects of the forums, not those whose mainstay is this topic. Next we could have someone join up, do the same thing of doing the bare minimum to achieve TL2 member status, camp out in this thread without really participating in any other areas of the forum, and send bulk hemp seeds out under creative names. Is that allowed under the rules? It’s not about what’s allowed in the rules because the thread didn’t start with a bunch of rules because I assume it was assumed people wouldn’t “bogart” the leaves and that we could self moderate. It’s like going into a gas station and cleaning out the take a penny leave a penny coin dish even though you’re already flush with change and it’s off putting enough for more than one member to comment about it and I’m sure many others feel similarly who don’t feel comfortable sharing those opinions publicly. We had someone else hogging the leaves on part 1 of this thread, they conveniently haven’t posted since September of last year and this member has conveniently joined in October of last year. How ironic. At least the other member taking a bunch from part 1 of this topic was actually participating in other aspects of the forum. Many blessings and much love

I agree here and thats where you shouldn’t be allowed to go buy 3,000 seeds of random to just to trade off here for higher end stuff. He knows exactly what he is doing. Sadly, I did my research on GPS after I claimed some of them. Knowing what I do now I will probably never waste my time growing them, maybe plant in the woods somewhere. We can all see who is here to trade and help the community and who is looking out for their best interest. But hey I am still new here so I don’t want to stand out too much.

i don’t mind skipping through them and have had really good luck 
all of those purple punch- and animal cookies-crosses were really good
so far.
i must say that i have found herms in many peoples seeds.
does not make me want to skip ALL their work tho, cuz in
my opinon → it is dependent on genetics, and not people.

that’s exactly who everybody likes to get very triggered by 
he makes no secret about being the same person, as he did not
really do anything wrong other than grab faster … *shrug *
he was suspended in the begining becuse he did not know how
to send the seeds in a good way and people got crushed seeds.
but since then he has changed it and people are getting what they
grabbed, hence him being back and OG-staff being okay with it.
but i am not his advovate …
i just don’t see it so negative, if he is quicker *shrug *
there’s plenty of stuff i missed out on, but i won’t
start hating people that grabbed it “from me” 
(cuz i am not entitled to anything offered up here.)
