Didn,t have much space to work with so I with took the tops off the plants I was growing.Saved me a lot of time.Did this for 8 yrs with no problem at all.Used grow pucks for my clones.Once I could see the roots,I then put them in large clear beer cups to veg till my first crop had to be harvested.Which was around 4 to 5 weeks.Then would transfer them 1 liter pots and veg for another week.Once the tops looked good,I then took more clippings for my next crop.Hope this info helps those who want to try it out.

Iv always been in the understanding that roots hate light , you didn’t have any negative results from this?
