Same for me but not my question. I am wondering if very long running strains (on average) are perceptably different to smoke.

No trimming, just chop and hang for sample…little low hanging, side bud.

At this point I’m just maintaining ph…added water so it wouldn’t rise or fall too fast. Only about 3 gallons in the res now. Gonna let it ride until chop (7, maybe 8 days!!!). When I put it into its 24-48 hours of dark, I’m just going to let the roots hang bare…no water, no nothing.

Looking sick man, I love it when I look back at a thread I watched from the beginning to end and the crops coming down nicely. Such a good feeling like I’m proud even though I’ve not done it 
What fans do you use size and CFM wise and what times are the fans on and off?

I’m hoping it’s close! I’m a super impulsive person…so this last week is really gonna put me to the test. Haven’t had a harvest in a while and my fingers are itchin’!!

I only have passive air intake…but here’s my exhaust (just for the record, this thing is damn near silent!!!)
And heres what I’m using above the plant canopy, below the LEDs…its got rubber feet so I can lay it down on my dwc tub and blow air up through the canopy and not have any vibrations…and it’s got 3 speed settings!!!

Well, I fucked up. Slipped and told my girl that I took Friday off work to chop. The chop is now on hold until Saturday. My day off is now full of Christmas shopping and driving around, burning gasoline, looking for bargains…ugh. Should have just woke up friday and started drinking…no driving then…lol.

However that may be a blessing in disguise. 4 of 6 plants are anxiously waiting to meet my lungs…but 2 just dont seem done. Seeing lots of milky and some clear…i usually like half amber half milky. Wonder if I should just leave these 2 for another week or 2.

Now this here seems to get a lot of folks. Do you count your flower period from the day you switch to 12/12? I did for a while and then realised not every plant starts to flower the same time.
Nowadays I don’t count it as bloom until all plants are showing sex “properly”
Did the 2 that are behind take longer to show? You might have to set aside 2 trim days but at least you would have lessened the load on each of those days bro

They all seemed a touch late to flower and the seed pack says 65ish days. I’m at flower day 72…so not overly late.
I like your plan. I’ll cut what’s ready on saturday and maybe do the other 2 as next week goes on. If they’re still packing weight and not quite ready, I’ll leave them. Would hate to chop them down early because I’m impatient.
Currently looking into Afghani #1…a 45 day flower period with fat indica buds sounds right up my alley!!!

Ran out of likes. But yeah there’s nothing worse than chopping a bud too early cos you think they’ve been in bloom since flip when actually it could be like 10 days behind that. My rainbow kush showed about 6 days before the tangie kush but it was from cut not seed. So that’s obviously further on now but my bloom started when the last TK showed.
45 days sounds awesome. I’m liking the idea of Mr sparkles dark Sparks. 9 weeks from sprout to harvest

All 6 of mine are from seed, same pack. Was hoping there wouldn’t be too much variation between them.
Despite not wanting to cut them all down, I may have to make a snap decision when the time comes. Want to get others vegging for a week and get flowering again…quick turnover is the name of my game.

Do you not have anywhere you can start your other beans whilst you let them do their thing to finish properly bro? Chop the rest. Move either the Mars or Vero light out to use to start your other beans. That way you can kinda have the best of both worlds. Can’t grumble at £1.50ish a bean 
gonna be a case of dropping the TK x RK beans for me as soon as they’re done for another breeding selection and run the not selected females for smoke. I’ve got the dark Sparks micro for some fun/hopefully some different smoke in between lol

I’m going to be running that G13 labs strawberry Eclair (gsc x strawberry cough) in that spot later today or tomorrow.
As far as harvest, I have 2 that are done, 2 that are well done and 2 that are a touch premature…but someone brought up a good point in another thread, saying that smoking some ‘light’ canna during the day and harder stuff at night is a good mix. I’ve been smoking mids so long that I forgot a hard hitting strain will chink your eyes and glaze you over…not so good for work. So harvesting at this time is almost perfect…best of all worlds.

I’m only keeping plant #1…finished earliest, great crystal production, hard buds, large buds and took all my abuse (they all did I guess…lol). Everything else is coming down this afternoon…pics will follow.
