New plant in the mix! Got a clone of Crop King Dark Angel. Lady I got it from said it was a really good cut.

She also sent some Vendex…apparently some hardcore mite treatment solution.

It’s clean…she just wanted to give me the option to be able to clean it myself before I intoduced it to the fridge. I know my clone is clean…but she said she’s gonna scrub the shit out of it anyway.
She’s all about the vermiculture and stuff. I dont know much of that, so it was nice to hear her talk.

10 oz cup challenge…lol…beastly, I know. Started giving it ph’d water with balanced nutes.

Perlite bed is also getting decent water…lots of white hairs shot out overnight.

Clones looking good

New baby girl…Crop King Seeds Dark Angel. Looks very nice!!! Smells super lemony!!

I have never seen roots fighting for space at the the top of the pot!! The lady I got this from is big into vermiculture and all this. Gonna have to get some of her soil mix for my veggies this summer!!

Pretty serious stuff when roots are fighting gravity to get the goodness in her soil!

Faaaahk. Had a quick power outage or something last night. Went to check on everything this morning and air pump was running, but power must have been off long enough to let the air stones clog up. Currently have the loose end of the air hose (no air stones) laying in the nutrient solution. Getting a couple more today and get that thing bubbling hard again.

Just went through that and did an amazon order.

Old T with ooooold air stones…roots were wrapped around pretty tight…was as gentle as I could possibly be.

.
New airstone…12 incher I think. My pump is only single outlet, so not screwing around with the T is nice…less flimsy.

This is my pump…had it for 10+ years and just now finding out that it’s not really high air output, but rather high pressure…made for pushing through substrates and large foam air curtain things.

Because I had to switch out my air stone and the lid could be easily turned around, I figure I would rotate the lid 180` to access the plants in the other side and make sure their lowers are not getting away on me…wanna keep larf to a minimum.

Hoping only another 30-40 days to go. May have went a little too hard too fast with the defoliating like other people said…and I wish I had flowered earlier. Either way, they should start packing on the weight now…hopefully.

My night temps are dipping hard due to my room being in the corner of 2 outside walls. Walls are insulated, but I dont want to run a heater. What are my options to heat the space at night?

A small radiant heater works well and easy on the power bills .other than that bringing in warm air from outside the space with a fan maybe?

Ever heard of running a water filter ?

Those air stones are about 3 years old. I guess some new ones were long overdue…lol.
A water filter is just something else to break, or are you saying use a water filter rather than the air pump? Like a hang on back of tank waterfall filter thing? Would roots clog up the suction piece?

Similar to a fuel filter it’s not running any fuel to pump h20…basicly it recycles the h20 for plant food or top feed and even hydration.

These are good to have around as backup and even to use.

So I have made a decision to run autos until spring or until I can come up with a cheap, effective and SAFE way to heat the room. Will be doing my DWC but lighting schedule will be 45 min on/15 min off…works out to 18/6, so the light should keep the room warm’ish.
It’s a toss-up between @Mr.Sparkle Dark Sparks, @Hashtree Red Poison F2 or @Hashtree Red Poison x Dark Devil…
All 3 look pretty serious…so it’s a win either way.

Spent all my likes catching up here and now I’ll be getting notified of your progress. Keep up the good work. I’m gonna have to agree with @stillsmoking that your prolonged flower times are due to major defoliation. There’s recovery time every time

Anyone heard of, or used these…or something like it? My space is only 2’ x 6’ x 7’…

Won’t let me click the link but you’ll probably be better served with a tube heater and a TH16 brother. Much less wattage used and they work grand

I’ve been dropping the Mars light little by little to try and get it as close as possible without burning tips. Currently sitting at about 6-10 inches from canopy top. At this distance, the light is strong and plants are loving it, but the actual light footprint is only 16" x 20"…with my closet being 24" x 24" some of my outside buds are turning pretty airy and not getting a good blast of light. I have pretty much a square foot (1/4 of my space) of wasted space and plant around the perimeter of the light.
Going to try an auto dwc vertical scrog next run.
Also, this may be my first and last run with the cali Connection purple diesel’s. Found plants 2 and 6 with pretty bad case of the ball-sacs…plucked what I could, but have another 4-6 weeks of watching and waiting…hoping I’m not plucking half the plants down because of sacs.
