apparently my ro/di filter brings my tds way way down . How much of what shout i use for a gallon of this filtered water to bring up the TDS to an acceptable level for my girls

An RO filter removes almost all the minerals of your water, just above 25 ppm so you should add fertilizers to reach the desired ppm’s for the stage you are. This may be indicative of that target …

i do add cal/mag to my watering jug that has trace elements correct?

You can add calmag to RO as a buffer or you can just use straight tap water if your tap is 400 or under
