Teach me some terminology

I’m only into my 2nd year of growing and have never been around the culture, which is a shame that I never discovered my enjoyment for it earlier in life. Two words that are persistent within this world of culture are “kine” and “dank”. I always thought they were something specific but a google search basically tells me that kine, dank and even sinsemilia are just different terms for top shelf bud. Is that all they are?

Kine and Dank would be appropriate for your better herb, sensimilia would best describe seedless weed…

It is basically different slang for good weed.

Slang names for marijuana

[edit]

Most slang names for marijuana and hashish date to the jazz era, when it was called gauge, jive, reefer. Weed is a commonly used slang term for drug cannabis. New slang names, like trees, came into use early in the twenty-first century.[2][3][4]

Slang names for cannabis identified by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration

[edit]

Whether all of these terms are slang names is disputed by some scholars, including writers at The Boston Globe and Reason Magazine.[10][26] Slang names for cannabis that were identified by the Drug Enforcement Administration in 2017–2018 and are not corroborated by another source include:[27]

On the 90s we had 3 different weed around where im from.Weed didn’t really have names you had either Brick for Brick from Mexico ,Mersh or Commercial for Weed that was seeded to hell and back but not necessarily bricked up like the brick weed from mexico was always Mafia or some syndicate related till Beasters came from the Korean Mafia stateside at the Falls and then you had Your Kind Bud or Kine.Kind was always reserved for seedless weed. Not all of it was good some was some good looking shit weed and the brick weed was better. For the most part Kind or kine meant good Nugs.Dank started getting used i want to say around 96 to 98.Dank meant Seedless weed that could stink through two ziplocks and stunk so strong it immediately alerted every one that you were holding as you picked up your bag from your buddy at the pizza parlor.Nowadays Dank means weed in general pretty much.Me personally i always liked jazz cabbage better
