Terpene samples to learn the smells?

I would like to properly learn what each terpene smells like so i can accurately tell what terpenes are present in my weed.

Are their terpene samples that you can get for this purpose?

Also i say terpenes but I also mean esters, thiols and other smelly compounds in weed.

Yes, look online. There are loads of them but you have to shop around to find a ‘good’ one.

I’m looking at some of these websites but they all seem to have terpene compositions to match strains rather than the individual terpenes like this Legend O.G – Terpenes UK or this Starter Sample Pack | The Perfect Intro Pack | Genuine Terpenes which kind of defeats the purpose.

I wanna get a sample of say pure Mycrene and pure Terpenoline, etc. So that when smelling my crop I can identify which terpenes are in it rather than trying to vaguely trying to describe by comparing it to other smells.

So you can just get essential oils from any place online these days.

Thats all that is for our purposes of smelling

Those are “botanical.”

The same shit the mom groups sell to each other lol

Then you can get specific strains from a site such as https://www.massterpenes.com/ of essential oils aka terpenes of specific strains and even choose from HDT(Hemp derived terpenes) or CDT(cannabis derived terpenes).

I wouldnt pay any extra for something labeled as “terpenes,” unless i am making something that is going to be inhaled

Had the same thought and have an eye on isolates by Herrlan. Reputable german company that exists for 34 years and started as a supplier for dental labs and industrial applications before venturing into vaping related stuff.

I think a dude that calls himself Crybaby sells something like that.

Yeah, this is pretty good, but where’s all the meatsas and ranker terps?

that was a good find, along w/the other charts OG’ers posted. very informative. I was just reading about terps the other day, and what i read said linolool, pinene and limonen are preferred. it’s just what i think i read the other day. wish i could find it.

Some info came out a year or two back that Volatile Sulfur Compounds are responsible for much of the smell. Another whole class of compounds to consider.

This is the one I want to eventually get @Cr0Barron

Search for: “cannabis sommelier kit” and you’ll find options.
