different strains need different care

For sure… i have a problem with that… not treating them as individuals

Exactly, all folks don’t like/eat the same stuff… plants are no diff

Eva is on the way to town to send off those Frankenstein cuttings so…

You are about to find the absolute truth in these words… Stock up on nitrogen. Just saying.
:ok_hand:t3:
I’ll give you a tracking number later today.

I don’t understand your confusion.
You were to water slowly not painfully slow. Regardless the exercise was to show you the importance of HOW you water. You didn’t allow a lot of water to come out of the bottom.
So essentially a lot of the nutrients that you fed with before you watered was still present in the soil.
It was the purpose of the exercise.

It must be clinging on or something… because i did water until an entire gallon came out of each… i watered super slow to ensure leaching was happening.

Thats why i think i may just be adding too much calmag maybe?? Im adding recommended dosage of 1 tsp per gallon only on feeding times… not water only times

The skunks look good… but the ppms just arent making sense… maybe they should be higher? Like 8 or 9 hundredninstead of 700- 750

What looks bad visually are all but the skunks…

They all look too low on N

Skunks are 2 center plants

I run plants from seed once they sex I’ll take cuts from them and from my moms so they all root around the same time
Hopefully that helps

That is the correct amount of Calmag to use.
Do as showed with each strain, slowly raise the amount of nitrogen until tip burn and then back off that number slightly and feed at that number.

Ok thank you man… im not really complaining… i just like to worry i suppose lol

No i mean… how old do you let seedlings get before using clones with them to finish similar timeframes etc…

(Mo is sending me some snips) and i have seedlings going in solo cups… will the timing be ok there?

Don’t worry about the time frames, they won’t be exact no matter what. The clips will need rooting and in the time that takes your little rooted plants will keep trucking. It is going to matter how long they take to root and how well each one does after that.
Some strains root quickly, others slowly and others are hard as hell to root.

It depends on the size of the cuts

A rooted clone is similar to a 3 week old plant

But to make sure they are all the same size take the same size cuts from your mature plant

That’s the best way

To keep everything the same size unless the seedlings are slow growers

The reason your getting higher ppm out than what you put in is cuz with top feeding your pushing down extra ppm from previous feeding that was not used up befor ie the feed at top of pot 1/3

With bottom feeding you get perfect ppm and ph straight to the roots tips at bottom of pot ( no change in ppm or ph )

Whereas with top feeding your picking up old feed with the new feed and pushin the total down to feeding root zone at bottom of pot = less control
If you visualise : )

With bottom feeding it’s not 1/3 volume salt build up but a more concentrated tide line ( like incoming tide pushing seaweed up beach and as it goes out it leaves it there kind off )
This line is always pushed safely above feeding root zone tho and is why with bottom feeding you never top feed or top water inbetween for any reason

This is what I was saying about the build up of nutrients in the soil. But @ifish explained a lot better than I did. As i have told you many times, I am a grower and not a teacher.
