Last night i bucked the buds for the traditional cureā¦ i ended up with 5 quart mason jars fullā¦
I decarbed a mason jar full of other weed already dried as wellā¦ cleaned the big tent out for pollen (Iāll do that xās 2 today)
Soon Iāll make tinctureā¦ im pretty excited for itā¦
So after lookingā¦ im not sure if Iāll have enough for bubblehashā¦ i do want to make it

Zee got me a Magical Butter machine for Christmas. It makes tincture as well as butter. I will try that next. I made butter last night. I need to get some Everclear.
I have quite a bit of trim and larf in the freezer. So much that, even in sealed plastic bags, i get slapped in the face with that wonderful smell. Every time i open the freezer.
Next week is supposed to be more winter like. Perfect time to make some bubbles.

Sounds familiarā¦I thought it was wonderful tooā¦ ā¦unfortunately my wife has a different opinion after her Christmas cookies took on the lovely scent ā¦ sooo.
I will get a small freezer for my exclusive useā¦

Finally made tincture!! @Papalag helped tremendously with the directionsā¦ i have to reduce it stillā¦ i should end up with around 6 oz after reduction ā¦ filtering it now

No no no!!
If you used Everclear, that tincture will burn worse than the best moonshine you ever tried. No shit. It will burn you all the way to your butthole.

Great job, Papalag learned well Make sure to winterize it. Then really you should reduce it down to oil. Then you know how much you have. Then add alcohol back to it to make sugar. Or run it as is in the sugar, I am sure you probably have a nice potent tincture there. Congrats!
When you burn off the alcohol, do it with a double boiler and vent, stir and scrap the sides and bottom of pan, incorporate it back into the sugar, keep doing that till it looks like sand, then take it another 30 minutes to remove alcohol. Stuff will knock your socks off if you use it when it is an oil. Start off on half grain rice size and what 3 hours, fun times

How do you winterize something? I tried it as tincture after filteringā¦ i put in freezer for 24 hours again and in the morning it still had a swirl of lipid type stuff so i filtered a second time through a coffee filter and then i reduced it about 60 % i tried 2 ml and im feelin great!
Now normally we are nuts with edibles and our max dose is about 500 ml for me and 1000 for herā¦ idk how the she does thatā¦ i get panicky off 500 mlā¦ 1000 may make me feel like i took acid

But 2 ml made my eyes tight and i feel loose everywhere ā¦ but as im typing its increasing a tad so ā¦ i love it! I do not like the alcohol tasteā¦ have you ever hear of making a vegetable glycerine type? Apparently technically it isnt tincture unless alcohol is usedā¦ but theres a vegetable glycerine ātinctureā type oil? Its supposed to be a weaker tranlationā¦ but still another methodā¦
