Here are a few that I started a couple weeks ago. These are outdoor. These are grown in peat/perlite/vermiculite and 1:1:1. They have been fed once with megacrop (recipe posted above). Other than that it has been rainwater and water direct from the hose.

They are close together because I will likely cull one or two if a male shows up.

They are doing quite well. Very consistent phenotype for these three. Identical height.

Just an update on my outdoor… all three ended up being female :joy:

They are looking a little light green, so they got a feeding… we have been having a lot of rain lately (NY area) and very hot/humid weather. They seem to be enjoying it.

I’m training them to the side so they grow away from one another… this should be interesting :face_with_monocle:

How old are they now

I think this is around day 25-30 from sprout. I can exactly remember. The pot on the left is the one that has the monolith growing in it. This was taken on June 27th — so about 21 days ago. If you look close you can see a few sprouts.

Give the stem a pinch right at the edge of the pot, they will flop over for a few hours then start growing up. I do it on all my plants. It’s an easy way to train them apart.

Auto mazarilla trained out

I trained it sideways until it showed pistils then let it go

I normally do this on most of my autos, but monolith has a rather thick stem that is hollow in the beginning. It will harden as it grows — early on it will lead to the stem breaking in half if you apply to much tension or do a pinch.

I think monolith isn’t exactly the kind of plant you would want to do much training with. I could be wrong on this, and would love to see someone make it work!

I’ll be popping a few when my wall of hempies empties out. I’m going to play with how I have them set up so I want them to all get emptied out.

Going looking at your profile for this!

Awesome. Looking forward to it.

That would cool to see. I had a friend try to train it, but the top snapped off. Curious to see how it goes for you.

To update on seed shipping, all have been sent except some late comers (s*******, and C****** whom I will ship to soon).

I got some mixed information from the Post Office, so some of them were sent as large envelopes and some were sent as packages. There is a chance the ones sent as large envelopes may get returned to me and I will have to resend them. That has not happened to any of them yet though, and some of them sent that way were the first shipment.

I am out of seed at this point. I hope to see some posts either here or if you could post a link to any grow journal threads with the Tycho Monolith here, that would be awesome.

Also please share feedback for me at GrowingHigher’s Feedback

Here is a quick update!

They are still growing up… some larger pre-flowers. The seem to be doing well despite being backed close together.
