We use silver for reversal and pollinate that way. It’s a little easier to make sense of the traits that get passed.

Nice. I don’t see a lot of his work being grown out. I’ve grown out a number of his strains, and they don’t really hold up in terms of potency compared to Mephisto or Rocbud, but I’m actually OK with that as it can be nice to be able to smoke a bit more at a time. The terps though on his strains are so good. His Cherry Fog, Strawberry Fog, and Cherry Cookies in particular are some of the most flavorful strains I’ve grown period.
Yeah… I’m having the same problem.
I was thinking Sour Stomper, Samsquatch OG, Double Grape, and CDLC for sure. This are all classics. I’m not so thrilled about 3BOG – primarily because there are SO many 3BOG crosses out there. I also don’t like that the strain has herm tendencies, that being said it is rare. I just don’t like the idea of having to check all the time…
I like the idea of using some of the less common strains. Sour Crinkle and Forgotten Cookies are good ones.
I’ll be home a bit later and pull out the wicked pissah collection. I have most of them, with the exception of Strawberry Fog. I even have a few unreleased strains I picked up in an auction.
I have anvil S1 and Bobbys Widow F3 from mandolorian genetics as well.
I think the main goal here is to test how nbs1081 does with some distinct auto strains. I think @anon4675195 and I have no interest in selling these crosses, but rather we are in it for the lessons learned. There are a few photo → auto lines planned and I’ll share some of those details later on.
Since we will have more than we can test… I think it is just a question of what the community is most excited about testing!!

I like intent and the idea of avoiding the beaten to death crosses. Forgotten Cookies reads real nice. that crossed with any of the heavy hitters will surely be something special. Are you doing any f2?

Here are the wicked pissah strains I have. Open to suggestions— I haven’t run much of his gear. I’ve definitely been impressed by what I’ve seen so far, though.

Great collection! I really have enjoyed his cherry strains, but would be interested in seeing that tangerine diesel grown out.
I’ve been reading about forgotten cookies — it’s a strain I’ve not run yet. I definitely like it. I’ve seen a few threads on AFN where folks have run it outdoors with great success as well.
It has very dense bud structures… 1081 has a similar phenotype, so I think it would be likely to see that feature retained. I’ll definitely put a few in.

I only have one seed of the TD! I tried planting two and both failed to germ. I’ve got one left. That is my top pick as well actually.

They are blowing up! You know… I have a theory that stressing some autos can actually delay flowering and allow you to really push them in terms of flower production.
One thing you might find helpful with monolith is to train developing flowers away from the central cola.
One “defect” (if you could call it that… ) of monolith is that it develops large buds that get pushed together. Indoors this isn’t a problem really, but outdoors it tends to lead to mold pressure.
The benefit indoors is you will see improved flower quality. It seems that this helps with circulation and light exposure (speculation).

Honestly not sure the girls in the veg tent havnt even started to try and stretch yet so can’t compare the one in 12/12 may not produce to much in the end also if the girls in the veg tent don’t enter flowering before I can top again I’ll probably top them again lol they’re doing really well
