Testers: Blueberry Diesel

Thanks guys. Getting hyped to smoke them, that’s for dam sure.

This grow has shown me I can fit a solid 5 testers per run. The rest of the grow is clones and I really enjoy the element of surprise that beans provide.

Playing with a new camera and took some BBD shots.

Still almost no amber. Flipped to flower about 76 days ago on both of these plants. Got MONSTER clones that are already as big as these moms i took them from. Gotta decide if i have room to flower them or I will hack up the clone into many smaller clones to buy some time.

Yeah it’s killing me! I need the space but after all this time I don’t want to pull it early. These girls are holding up my new environment plans and other vegging plants are getting too tall. You see all the white hairs still too? I really want to pull it then i see those and it seems like i got weeks. I see an amber trichome on some leaves every now and then.

we reached 8 weeks, or 56 days of flora.
I don’t see almost anything amber in color, some that are amber in color, I feel that it was some stress, or light burning.
I had a top bud that was going albino, its height was relatively smaller than another top bud, which was not suffering from the intensity of the led.
But I can’t judge that, because in this run I had some burned out LEDs, which may have made the light more intense on that side of the board, and causing this problem, I solved it by doing Super cropping

Update time. Out of the 3 seeds I directly sowed to soil without pre-germination I’ve got 2 survivors. I’ve got them in these solo cup sized containers that are hard to judge the weight of when they need more watering since they are so small. I’ll feel better once they’ve been up-potted and I can really feel the difference in a dry pot to a wet one. Also, don’t mind the ph down splash spots on the leaves as it is pretty unavoidable when watering in the veg room. These will be growing outside once I get them to a decent size.

I’ll roll with these two until some space opens up in my grow room to implement even more seeds into the test or I have to cull a male.

One of mine also finished really early also. Around 7 weeks. The other 2 were not that far behind either. Maybe a week more and to be honest the yield was really modest for a strain that finished so fast.
Keep an eye on them trichomes :+1:

the sour diesel x headband in the chem fuego is supposed to be a very fast finisher so maybe you got some influence from that.

That’s what I wanted to know, how long have they been in bloom, I’ve had them for about 60 days in bloom, 7 and a half weeks more or less in bloom, and the trichomes are still very milky white.
I’ll take some pictures of her right now

Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

Number 1 will be ready first lots of cloudy a few clear and a few amber. I’ll give her the chop within the week. If possible I like to harvest in stages, pulling the tops first and letting the bottom buds ripen a bit.

Number 2 and 3 still have some time.

What lookers what kind of smells you getting?

Number one has a very nice berry smell, not perfume berry but just straight berry berry. Two and three are definitely more citrus based. Number one also looks the nicest, frost and color wise but I don’t think it will yield quite as much as 2 and 3. One was also the tallest of the three and just seems a bit lankier in general.

Take it with a grain of salt as I’m not the best with smells plus I have a lot of strains in the room.

Honestly it has not been anywhere close to a perfect grow and I wish I took clones of that number one but I still have 5 beans left. So depending on how it smokes I think I am going to crack all 5 and run them again as I don’t have any other testers on my plate for the next run. In all, very pleased with the genetics and c to b- for the grower lol.

@CosmoNut, how are you?
Just a doubt, they have how many weeks of flowering?

I am pretty good thanks for asking.

I am roughly on week 8-9 of flowering. I don’t normally track how long a plant has flowered for. I normally look for dieing fan leaves, changing colors of the hairs and the trichomes under the scope. In the past I have looked for a solid 25% amber. Now I am experimenting with harvesting at more 5-10% amber. This thread https://overgrow.com/t/trichome-microscopy-harvest-timing-science/108809

Has really changed how I think about harvest time and really to experiment more with it. I would just suggest when looking to harvest don’t get locked into “rules” of when to harvest. Look at all the signs on the plant and go from there.

Big roots equal big buds in my book. Don’t make my mistake, take clones.

Looks like your off to a great start as well. I never really got into outdoors, I bet you can grow some monsters.

Can’t wait to see what you turn out man.

Re-vegged Blueberry Diesel - I was planning on taking clones and binning her but she looked too good. To cull.
