Hey everyone recently made up a cross of bodhis gogi og f2 “pinesoul”,clone crossed to 6 different pagoda males when doing a open pollination of a pack
Pagoda is Apollo 11 f2 “genius pheno” x Appalachia
Pinesoul is a nice smoke heavy of lemon pine funk that does well outdoors and in
Ended up only with 1 pagoda female but the smoke is very nice smoke is a good yielder too
Growing out 1 selected pinegoda female outdoors week 3 flower frosting up nicely with scents of pineapple and lemon funk will get a updated picture tomorrow
Looking for 3 people who would be willing to pop within a month or so within received doesn’t have to do any crazy grow log just a few pictures during veg and flower and thoughts on smoke

Pinegoda super late outdoor week 3.5 weeks frosting up pretty nicely early on sexually stable so far taking colder temps and lower lighting conditions very nicely lemon funk and tropical fruit(pineapple guava) smells so far pinesoul leaning structure with more puffed calyx pagoda buds going to be a good yielding looking like it might need some later flowering support
Running this girl indoor next cycle if anyone is interested in testing these out lmk!

Excited to run that pheno indoors smells wonderful blend of both parents heavy frost going to yield decent first selected female out of few plants from my germ test pop seems nice this one is very much pinesoul leaning in structure with a bit of the pagoda zig zag branching and bud structure seems to be a quicker finisher should be done around 9 weeks looking like might need some late flower support but holding itself up pretty good

I am starting to learn some cultivars need the extra support in late flowering as well. Might be since I have been pollinating lately thats the main cause but something to keep eyes on! Excited to see the end goal for you

Cool project, I know you mostly run clones. Is the goal to pheno hunt for a mom or is this round just a sampling of the genetics?

This is just a quick sample run took the nicest looking female from a test germ of 9 seeds culled the rest and stuck it outdoors to see how it turns out wanting to do a larger hunt of these and pop like 40-50 seeds and flower out all females and try and find a stand out in the bunch but got lots going on so we will see if that happens😂
I mainly like running seeds but taking on some clones of some elites(sc blue dream,Tahoe og, la pure,chem91,pinesoul) and a few friends keeper/my keepers this past few runs to get a baseline of “elite”/others keepers quality to help make selections going forward and in general what stuff resonates with me too the most to see what direction of lines/crosses I wanna search through later
