TestOfOath's Happy Place

Anyone want to try and help me diagnose what I got going on? I know there’s lots of different cultivars but just anything you might spot, the tacoing downward leaves or flipping upside down leaves, the couple plants with yellowing/spotted leaves, etc. Majority of em are pretty happy, I ordered precision measuring instruments for a change so I’m just trying to dial everything in.

4 parts coco, 1 part soil mix, .5 part worm castings, pH is 6.5, and these are all per gallon; 1/2 tsp RAW nutes grow 7-4-5, 1/32 tsp RAW 9-0-0 cal/mag, 1/16 tap RAW kelp 0-0-1, 1/16 tsp RAW silica, 1/16 tsp RAW cane molasses, 6ml Hygrozyme, sometimes some BioRhizotonic. Also been foliar spraying with Cannastart/RAW Cal/mag, been thinking of adding BioVega to the foliar spray

This is how they look now

These are individuals (ish) from a couple days ago.

How intense is the light that is on them? Some of the symptoms you described can be associated with too much PAR.:v::canada:

I run 500 watts dialed down maybe 10% and they’re idk 2ft or so from the lights at the tallest plants. Roughly 450 ppfd at the plants, 25k lux converted to PAR

More photos of problem plants. The one real angry gimpy one got cooked by Super thrive… I’ve had 0 luck with that stuff

I’ll never use super thrive. Is your humidity to high? I had some do like that. Roll over and die. Did they get a little dry? The leaf roll I’ve had some do that before.

Yeah, probably not too much PAR then.

I don’t use super thrive anymore , seemed to cause more problems than fixed or helped with the plants in general, i wish I could help brother , but I got lost after the first couple ingredients in your mix. I’ve switched and I have 5 total ingredients for total grow

Have you checked your run off ?

It looks like you got a few things going on. Some of that do you have a little bit of a claw look. That could be from a couple of things. Rh, not enough light, too much light, maybe a little bit too much nitrogen, maybe some wind stress. Some of your smaller ones look like they just need some nitrogen and a good feeding. Not too much. I like this stuff I just started using it. I actually have used in a couple of times in the past. Sometimes when you got a lot going on like that some don’t get as much as attention as they should. I do like toppers. And I grew like that for several years. The Foxfarm dry additives to soil. It get your hands a little dirty. Your roots need vitamins. B 52 is expensive but I’ve been trying to find different alternatives. Here is something that I’ve been using so little pricey. I run the numbers on the stuff right now. To see what I can use inexpensively. image I don’t care for the 2% nitrogen. Salt and salt. Your grow looks good. I think you’re like myself we get too much going on.

One thing you got to remember you grow organically. It’s a different ball game. A lot of those supplements are Time released. So sometimes you might have to make a tea. I’ve never had much luck at a super thrive. I’m not gonna lie to you. I mean it’s like one or two drops to 5 gallons. Some stuff people have very good luck with. And just remember if your room smells like something bugs would like to eat they’re definitely going to come in. I use fish fertilizer today. I know I’ll see ants tomorrow. I know this stuff stinks. I haven’t use much of it in a couple years but I’m going back to it. image image. You can get a gallon for 20 bucks. It stinks. You’ll think you’re working on a fishing boat. Neptune makes a pretty good product little bit more expensive. I didn’t see much of a difference.

Sometimes when I’ve seen that claw look in the past. Just me I’ve noticed that I started showing male parts. Just my suggestions. There’s other people up there that’s got all kinds of stuff also. We’re just trying to help. That’s like when you noticed I had spider mites. I thought it was nutrient lockout. Too much magnesium. And I had looked. I just didn’t look hard. Enough. But when I seen them, they were nasty. I didn’t even wanna smoke it. And then I washed it with soap. Every bit of it taste like soap. :joy: Nothing is set in stone.

I found some old nutrient deficiencies/excess photos I had that say it’s nitrogen excess and I guess that could make sense with what it’s gotten mixed into it. Feeding straight water for the time being then I’ll go lighter on the nitrogen. They’re all still growing fine just kinda pissed off lol. My humidity is way too low of anything, but I don’t have a humidifier just AC and dehumidifier… Maybe I should get one, I know my VPD is probably way off. Stupid winter weather.

@ShiskaberrySavior if I’m being honest I haven’t watered these until runoff yet, I guess I should at least do a couple, maybe the problem ones, to see where it’s at. Or a problem one and a healthy one for a good comparison. I get overwhelmed with everything I’ve gotta take care of in here between seeds and keeping my seeds sorted, sprouts growing, seed runs not dying, side hustling seeds, greenhouse, etc. that sometimes I find it hard to focus on doing any one thing fully and jump around a shit ton. Something I’ve recognized I do but have not managed to fix yet lol

Looking like both mendo purps are hermies but I wanted some second opinions before I culled em, seems pretty straight forward though, both have pistils and pollen sacs. Should be getting the sex sex of more of the other cultivars soon

Oh and my latest update at day 50 of I-96 from slightlycloudedorganics on Instagram, I had to pop some for my greenhouse this year cause… Well fuck just look at her

Very nice looking plant. Water is always the best. At least you’re neutral. And then you can work up from there.

It’s easy to get sidetracked happens often with me. But if you check your run off healthy vs sick should show what’s happening .

You say anything over five plants. :joy:
Anything over four is a job. I transplanted 18 the other night I made sure I put tags on them. I said screw this shit. I need to get me some markers. That Kimbo slice I got going on is really some cool looking stuff.

Culled the two hermy mendo purps and cut down 4 other males I found too. Top dressed with langbeinite 0-0-22 and prilled dolomite lime 23.5% cal 9.5%mag at like 1 tsp per 2 gallons. Fed hygrozyme, and bio root 0-1-1 both at 5ml per 3/4 of a gallon and RAW kelp 0-0-1 so it really should only feed low amounts of PK and no nitrogen at all while still getting the enzymes in there and roots continually happy. Finished by adding another solo cup of coco to the top of everything to level em all off and tidy things up a little. Topped a few that were getting tall and lollipopped everything. Still waiting on most to show sex

This Malana landrace is one mutant freak of a plant. Growing double stems and wonky stems/leaves on its own accord
Excited to see the Snugglefunk x PM F2 - Up North, Peach Trees, and I96 in the greenhouse this year. My grow buddy has another 30 some odd started he’s gonna sex for the greenhouse too

i always recommend to ppl with low humidity to fill a 5 gal pale with tap water de chlorinated put a small towel soak it and then squeeze it out and let it sit with 1/3rd of the towel out close to a fan. ghetto but works especially in small rooms

That looks amazing. You will have a nice run.

Does anyone got some advice on transplanting peyote? How big of pots should I go? Should I separate every cactus into its own container? How hardy are they during transplant? They’ve been growing for a year or year and a half :flushed:

@Dirtron did I get these from you with the San Pedro? These are all I’ve got left unfortunately
