Get a 4x4 for cloning and early veg. Or if it’s just to clone, than a 2x4 is perfect. All you need is a few 4’ led strips. I think mine fits four domes perfectly. And if you’re only cloning one or two trays at a time that leaves you with a 2 x 2 area to grow plants that have rooted. I know firsthand that you can put a lot of solar cups in a 2 x 2 area.

I think I’m gonna try that little baby 2x2 so I can keep my wife happy not taking up too much more space down there lol, it seems like the shelving included with it will just barely be enough space for a tray or two of clones up top, and some cuts underneath! Gonna be my little Christmas gift to myself this year lol.

Weekly photo update!
Everybody is looking pretty good! In the 4x4 with the earth boxes left is Banana OG, Black Lotus in the middle, and Billy Breathes on the right. BL and BB have been topped but the BOG was looking a little lighter colored at transplant and has been the shortest plant so I’m still holding off till she’s a little more greened up and bigger. Just top watered them again tonight and I bet they will be ready for the res to get filled in a week or two.
My 2x4 with the younger seedlings all look good too, a little droopy cause I watered a little heavy but they’re gonna perk up soon! I moved my extra Billy Breathes in there too and she’s been topped also. All the smaller ones got sex testing samples sent out Sunday but the tracking hasn’t updated so hopefully they get there soon and I get some results and then I’ll probably transplant them into 1gal pots before moving them into the 20gals to flower in my 8x4! And the. If I have any extra females from that lot they’ll stay in the 2x4 with the extra BB for now. Plus I have the little clone tent on the way to get some cuts soon.
Edit: HA! Sorry just realized that picture of the BOG is terrible that’s what I get for just taking quick pictures after a few bowls and a long day at work

Man my sex testing get stuck in the mail and delayed so I didn’t get them transplanted before I had to go out of town for work this week and had to have my wife watering solo cups while I was gone for the week, and while they’ve been in the solo cups too long so they’re getting finicky. So I came home to most of them wilted and falling over and gave them a big drink and hope they’ve perked up when I’m home from my gig tonight! But I should be able to transplant tomorrow, I think I’ll get 6 straight in my 20 gal pots to stay and then my extra females in a 1gal then up to a 5 to flower.
I got my sex test results back also finally now and all three gassy eddy’s are male but all three sour diesel bx4 are female so two go to the 8x4 and one will stay in the 2x4 with my extra Billy breathes. Wish I got them transplanted before I left but hopefully they’ll bounce back. I should be home from my gig in a couple hours to check and maybe give them another small drink.

Definitely perked back up at least! Most of them were full on floppy wilted looking bout dead when I first got home this afternoon lol.
Plus the earthboxes still look good! Billy Breathes is gonna blow up in there and take over the tent lol, looks like the black lotus in the middle is starting to get going, and the banana OG is still going kinda slow but starting to branch out more at least.

New clone tent is here and all set up, honestly it looks pretty sick, and the different ways you can set it up is pretty neat. Was curious what people think I should do for fans in here? Getting another exhaust fan for this little tent seems excessive but I figure I’ll need some kind of environmental control still.
It’s a 1gal pot in there for size, and you could fit two domes on the shelf up top.

Everybody’s looking pretty good in here, the plants in the 20gal pots are starting to acclimate and perk up a little but that soil sat for a bit and got pretty dry so it’s taken awhile for it to really get well saturated and it’s finally getting there. There’s also a cool leaf mutation I found on the kosher sap where it split and grew two fan leaves on the stem
Earthboxes look great too, the banana og and black lotus are finally starting to catch up a little bit and the Billy breathes in there is blowing up! The black lotus I have also been noticing some variegation on the leaves as well possibly? I need to go get some more pictures of that but I forgot when I was in there taking pictures and am pretty tired post gig lol. Also I did get my earth box covers back on now too.
Last the extra female Billy breathes and sour diesel in the 2x4 look pretty good too! Probably gonna let them go another week or two and then transplant into a 3 or 5 gallon pot and flip but I’m not sure which size I wanna do since that tent is short.

Went ahead and topped everything in my 8x4 today so they can start to bush out a bit more, definitely starting to perk up some more after a little feed yesterday and now the soil is finally staring to get much more evenly saturated.

If you put the Billy breathes in the middle and flip the Earth box around, I think you’ll have plenty of room for everything without having to trim her back

Yea that’s a good idea! I was just worried if I put her in the middle she would just take over the whole tent lol
I think, even if you trim back the Billy, the other plants would never catch up to it. They seem to be a little more sensitive to the soil mix or possibly because those are smaller. They are getting too much water. I don’t know. It’s always hard to say when looking through a screen on my phone.As long as you have some clones, why not just bud everything out to see what’s worth keeping.

Yea that’s where I’m at now, I’m just waiting for a couple more good clone options to take some and flip as soon as I can, they’ve all been drinking through the EB reservoir now, but that Banana OG on the left has been really slow out the gate and the runt since sprouting. The black lotus is actually starting to get going now and I think it’ll start going a little faster soon. I think next time the res dries out on the banana OG I’m going to top water In a feed to jump start it.

Everything looking pretty nice! My irrigation setup is sending more water to a couple pits so I gotta work that out but other than that looking good! Just waiting for a couple good lower branches to clone still then flipping, but I did flip my 2x4 already and will just cut some clones when they start to stretch. I think the Banana OG in the earthbox that’s been funky is starting to grow out of it too, she’s super branchy and bushy though so I need to prune her up nicer or it’ll be a mess flowering I think lol.
Do have a couple clones rooted from tops I accidentally broke off the black lotus lol😅 I need to get those in soil here soon but I’m out and we’re getting a winter storm here now and roads are already icing over.
