Left side:
time to pull the males. they have done their duty. all the girls are preggers.
the males have been dropping dust for about 2 weeks. going to pull them out, put their branches to dry out in the pollen box, pull all the females out, take them outside and wash them off, bleach nuke the space and put the females back in to finish up with seed production.
GDX#2 is very preggers. i was impressed at the frost level on this plant.
i pulled 24hr shifts for about 10 days from the hospital to home. mrs.v trying to let me catch up on sleep, but… too much going on and even more to do.
baby v likes to party between 2am and 7am. she got us real good last 2 nights. kept eating and eating and eating. killing bottles like a paratrooper on a 3 day pass. now she is sleeping like a log all day today. me and mrs.v are spent but have chores etc.
Gday bud just thought I’d drop in and say congrats on the new addition! Going back for round 2 very brave . My eldest boy started high school this year bloody crazy! Plants are looking very nice, GDX#1. Have a great Easter mate!

round 2 indeed. the experience from previous kids is coming in handy, but the newborn stage IMO is the worst. sleepless nights for about 6 months…
my body doesn’t quite process the sleep deprivation like 30yrs ago…

the last two seedlings for outdoor season working on getting big enough for outdoor transplant.
sorry @HorseBadorites - i was never able to get any of my kosher kush seeds to go. very disappointing. i will have to look for them again. i don’t see a lot of places carrying them anymore.
the replacement is from seedsman. “Fuel D.OG”. this one looked good on paper for abuela so i picked them up early on. their age in waiting for their turn was a big factor in choosing to run them. considering all my first seed purchases are at least 5yrs old now, i better get to popping a lot of them before they expire. i have had mixed results with old seed. leaning more towards failure… best get to 'em.

GB#1 got a haircut. took a single clone from this just in case. going to try and promote some more laterals. i will probably seed run it after the hottest part of summer is over.

the autos seem to be just about done. i have to admit, i haven’t been paying them much attention. other pressing matters prevail. i will probably chop them later this week.

army buddy FINALLY coming to get some clones and other goodies i have saved aside for him. these clones are getting super unruly. i topped the BD clones he will take. they were outgrowing the space. very very vigorous plants.

seed making churning along. added some more soil and amendments yesterday. they need a little something for their production efforts. a little extra scoop of worm castings these days.

Sooner than later you’re gonna have some helping hands in the zones that re looking fantastic if I do say so.
pulled the autos today. it is time (close enough). been thinking about how i want to proceed with this zone. think i’m going back to the old setup with these new pots… will be able to get my hands in there better.
going to put AC GDP and GG4 up top and leave the unruly twins, godfather og and blue dream down below.
with these autos pulled, will be thinking about the next set to start. i have a lot of freebie autos to get through, so will work on those.

Seedsman Zkittlez Auto.
easy growing plant. wasn’t fussy at all. just small. smelled REALLY nice during wash. sweet. fruity. the harvest is going to be a bit dismal, but watch this be some really killer smoke that knocks me on my ass… (or not?) we shall see.
next up we had 2020 mendocino “dirty martini” auto. even easier to grow than zkittlez. just water and top dress. actually kinda impressed by what it produced in such a small pot. i think i have one seed left. will do it in a bigger pot next time if the smoke is any good… (i have yet to grow out something bad from 2020m… everything has turned out real nice, and why i continue to grow their seeds)
this one smelled like vics vapo rub during the wash. menthol/citrus. pretty wild.

moving things around. Blue Dream on the left, Godfather OG on the right. spaces left open for the new autos coming soon. (started the seed in paper towels 2 days ago. need to check on them later today).
trying to sort out where to put GB#1. army buddy supposed to come pick up clones monday after his VA appt. space should be clear in zone3 bottom after that.
t-dub is mutant and going slow. fuel d.og is getting after it. will prbably transplant to permapots outside next week.

back in business again.
took all the clones from zone3 bottom and put them in here to flower. no up-potting. the hot weather is here and will continue to increase for the summer. zone4 will probably have to close down for the heat in july/aug.

clone moms settling in. happy with the last top dress.
t-dub is a complete mutant. thought it was going to unf^ck itself, but its just getting more twisted. going to limb it out and defoliate a bit and see if i can get a main stem to form from all this gnarled mess.
fuel d.og got leggy, then bent and now has some gnarly mess at it’s root stem. going to bury it deep when i transplant outside. my whole outdoor season has had a very uncooperative start.

things have moved about.
new auto is “red skunk” i said fuggit. will do inside and keep in there until mrs.v complains about it (if she does). if it gets too stanky it will go out to zone 4 spartexas style. the other solos were some herbs i was trying to save from outside. they got a bad start and the monsoon rains back to back have not been kind. i dunno if they will live.
center pot is clone from each mom (ac gdp, gg4, gfog, bd) that has been set aside for the granda’s breath seed run after the summer heat allows for a run. hopefully they don’t get too unruly (as i know they will…) but i’m never afraid to top stuff
the good sunny weather saw me outside building/tweaking and finishing up the mesh house. i didn’t spend much time with the indoor stuff beyond watering and being ever vigilant of the bug menace. (never know what i’m bringing in working outside so much)

Blue Dream is a VIGOROUS plant. i keep having to top it. slow the f^ck down girl. sheeeit.
godfather mom seemed to have some issue with the last top dress? got some leaves curled. i took it outside and did a flush. will see how it reacts this week.

Week 3 flower
all are doing well. unfortunately, mrs.v left the garage door open for a VERY long period of time when the sun was going down and the space got invaded by fungus gnats. having to deal with those. they are having an orgy in the soil from the last top dress. i watered yesterday morning and watch a cloud of FG’s erupt from the pots. f^ck.
seems the mesh house did it’s job and kept them a bit more protected. got some branches down over here. thankfully small so no chainsawing required.
i just went out and shook the water off the colas. my hands smell like blue dream. so sticky! smells so nice.
you need to come grab a clone of this. if this doesn’t make you some kick@ss fresh frozen rosin, i will be very surprised. this is the most vigorous plant i have ever had in my garden to date. i keep topping it and it keeps ignoring me. the one i put outside is growing some legendary colas.
I’m trying to iron out my end of summer plans before I decide what I’m doing next. I may just run an auto or two over the summer before I start my next photo run.

GDP needs me to give it some TLC and clear the larf and “underbrush”. i have been neglectful…

blue dream is the TRUE demonic jungle nightmare plant. unruly is an understatement. i top it and it says f^ck off and grows even more vigorously. what it’s producing outside for colas is amazing. it really likes the sun.
godfather recovering from the whatever it was going through… but i am really thinking about discontinuing it as a mom… i have clones… and it might go great outside spartexas style. i dunno. still thinking about it.
EDIT:
forgot to mention. it is time to circle back around on the hunt for the @Shoreline GDP male. got a few seeds left in this pack. fingers crossed there’s a male in there.
side note #2 : abuela has been using some CBD oil i made for her sometime last year. the stash is low, so will be running these seedsman purple kush (CBD) autos that have worked good for her in the past.
