Making Seed for the Afflicted
my pollen chuckin’ endeavors are very much focused on working with medicinal strains. primarily those that have shown promise with abuela’s condition(s). most of them are old school and may be considered ‘boring’ or ‘old’ or ‘weak’ in comparison to today’s high THC strains.
please note: i am not trying to keep up with that.
i am working on specific lines with specific purpose. many of the crosses i will be doing have already been done. maybe recently, maybe decades ago. that’s great.

there is zero commercial aspect to what i’m currently doing here. i’m just trying to make solid, stable crosses that hold medicinal benefit.
in the beginning, i was really only intending to make crosses/seed for abuela. mostly out of necessity, as a lot of the strains on abuela’s list are hard to find or no longer exist.
as i continued to grow/read/learn, we began to see some of the benefits afforded to abuela through various strains. at this point, i began to think that i also wanted to create some special stuff for the veteran community. i could see that some if it might help a LOT of people. being a veteran myself, and having (and continue to) deal with the VA for medical “care” - this project holds special purpose for me that i intend to make good on, and will.
however, there seems to be a lot more interest in what i’m doing than anticipated/expected. this being the case, it seems prudent/OG of me to make some available to the civvies (when quantities allow).
What’s Available in the Civilian Sector?
- the seeds of unintended crossbreeding (my drifting dust mistakes can be your gain!)
- leftover project seed (after selections)
- seed increase run leftovers (after selections)
- leftover pollen from select males with completed runs
Testers Needed!
- in addition, i will be looking for serious testers after successful project runs. i don’t have the space or time to test all i am working on. (not yet at least) outsourcing to willing OGers who can assist the halls of valhalla by running my testers, documenting and photographing your progress here on OG. i will be looking for honest and unbiased feedback. if my sh^t sucks, my sh^t sucks. just show me and tell me why. conversely, if it’s good, show me and tell me why. pretty simple. i guess the only downside to this is i’m going to ask you a sh^tload of questions on your grow/test thread. be prepared.
it would be nice if there is also a variety of test medium. I’ve got the organic soil covered, but looking for coco, hydro (and other) growth mediums, fertilizers and amendments as well. different environments will be equally important. i have hot and dry covered. i need y’all temperate and wet environs to give them a go.
all this testing is part of the stability i’m working on. ease of growth is extremely important. soldiers coming back from overseas with missing limbs and other grievous injuries need simple, easy and effective meds. their lives are already complicated enough. same with us older veterans. the old war wounds don’t magically go away as we age. quite the opposite.

correct read my friend, but also I’m a chicken who has strong enough protective instincts to still have its head. Climbing back from a lot of mental health stuff is part of why I’m actively protecting myself from getting into situations where I am likely to get overwhelmed or feel like I’m letting someone down (even if I’m objectively not), because I know those are things that have cascading negative effects for me. So it’s baby steps for this chicken 
it’s another form of accessibility for me. Acknowledging my limitations and finding solutions instead of just pushing through because other people think I should.)
