Thanks for stopping by! What you’re about to see is a glimpse into my flower tent, where I focus on creating a thriving, healthy environment for my plants. There are many different cultivation techniques out there, but this is my personal approach. I hope it sparks some inspiration or new ideas for your own cultivation journey. Enjoy!

This run will be a single plant in a 7 gallon fabric pot with straight coco. I have been LST and will continue with trellis in the coming days. 1 layer for training and a 2nd for support. We are gonna fill out our space and then flip to flower.
Cap Junky (Fatjoe Cut)
Today we installed the first trellis for training. No DIY shortcuts this time! I should have just tucked today, but I also lollipopped. I’m not a fan of unnecessary growth at this stage that won’t contribute by the end of flower. I’ll continue training out until we fill about 80% of the screen, then flip to flower. Overall, I’m happy with how this run is progressing.
I got a Blumat Moisture Meter for Christmas, and it’s been cool to see how my plant drinks in coco. I’ve been watering when over 90 bar, hitting 110 today. The 7-gallon pot took 2 gallons of solution for 2L of runoff.
Note to self: going from 1-gallon to 7-gallon was too big a jump; should’ve started with 3 gallons. Also switched to Canna Coco—no more bricks for me, the extra $5 is worth it.
Post watering
Progress is impossible without change; and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.
We flipped to flower on Monday and are progressing well. The light has been running at around 160 watts, but I increased it to 180 watts. I’ll gradually raise the intensity throughout the flowering phase and then reduce it toward the end. I’m really impressed with the QB96 boards—the spectrum and growth they produce are excellent. The Bucket Company tables are also proving to be great; they’ll help maintain an even canopy. The Animal Face strain hasn’t stretched as much yet, so I’ll focus on training the Cap Junky and Chimera 2 instead. You can see them filling in nicely, and we still have plenty of headspace.
Hey, I found you. Good to see ya start up a thread here. Things look ready to explode.
Thanks bro. Its about go down!
Gets more green every time I visit. Nice garden!
Looks good for 14 days. Ya got a bit more to go on that stretch. I had no doubt you’d fill that space quickly.
Yeah we moving right along. Turned my lights up again, we are at about 240 watts now. Watering is becoming a pain, i may have to implement my irrigation system before this cycle ends. The Cap Junky is taking 2 gallons every othernday for runoff yeeeesh. The Cap Junky seems to be about a week behind in flower set as well SMH, im hoping to take them all to 75 days and harvest.
CJ is a slow developer. Takes her time. At 5wks you’ll be wondering if they will ever grow…but they will…lol
I like coco but…them watering requirements can be labor intensive if your not automated. Once ya are ya have more moving parts unless your gravity fed.
I give up a little growth in peat but not much. Promix has coco in it. Not much but it’s there. I usually end up trying to train the plants in a tent to take water every 3rd day if they are in 7gal bags. By mid flower all are thirsty on the 3rd day so that makes it a little simpler. Way easier than coping with individual plant needs separately. They get 1gal…very little to no run off mid flower on to harvest. I dunno how I don’t get a huge salt build up but my plants seem happy to me from harvest to harvest…lol
By the way that’s just a theory…training with water. It’s just how it all falls together for my needs. No science to it just a method I use. They seem to fall into that pattern every time so I call it water training…lol. Anything to save a step. I haul a lot of water with all I have going.
Sure is. How many days did you take it?
Broooo! Lol thats wild! Yeah i think its several factors involved. Pot size and type, medium, environmental and plant health. My previous grow in soil at peak my plants were taking 6L every other day with zero runoff.
I would need to start smoking again to even comment on this. That hurt my head a little being sober and trying to work that out lol.
Nice looking plants you have growing there. Almost looks like you know what your doing. I bet your going to try and tell us you do your own cloning too. (all kidding). Garden is looking fire my man. Long time no eyeball. How’s things at your end? I gotta say hello to The Green Monster soon. He did give me an invite before what ever debacle happened at… will just say “that other place”. Good to see you and we will chat later!
Hey young man. How ya been? Thanks for the invite. Just in the nic of time too. Not sure what all happened there but a notice of some kind would of been appreciated. At first I’m thinking Green Monster? Cat must be a Red Sox fan. Then … ok, never mind I got’s it now. I see what ya did there.
We cruising right along! May have watched a video and read a view journals on how to grow ![]()
