@newb2.0 it was mainly on the tips this grow wen we noticed caught it early enough I think. it looked like nute burn started to get orangeish color at the tips but it didnt get that dry cracked look that it usually gets and since we changed the water no issues thus far knock on air lol last grow my bf thought we were over feeding them cuz of burns this grow we hav a ppm reader and have upped the feeding significantly w no issues the only thing we have changed is the water got a 5 gallon jug off amazon and am lucky enough 2 beable 2 get fresh spring water around the corner for .50 cents a gallon at a water station. My thinking was it cant hurt 2 try n change things up worst case I learn wat not 2 do my bf was convinced wen we did the separate feeding the plants I gave a higher feeding 2 would b burnt was surprised wen they were loving the bigger feeding and we ended up giving a bigger feeding 2 all after that hope this helps happy growing
The early miss auto is showing white hairs this morning everyone’s looking happy and healthy after their feeding happy growing
Looks great. Just a heads up about the tap water I just bought 2 5 gallon jugs like you have and fill em up and keep the cap off. If they sit for 24 hrs all the chlorine evaporates. Then I alternate using one one day after it has sat for 24 hrs while the other is full and evaporating the chlorine. Just another option to save some change and time. However, I don’t have spring water down the road for cheap.
That’s a nice canopy you got forming
Will keep this in mind for future grows my lease is up in October so we will b moving n my main source of transportation is walking n I cant see myself carrying a 5 gallon jug it’s really just convenient atm
Thank u I’m amazed at how big the 2 Jack’s in the back are they get bigger everyday the 2 in the front are boosted up on crates was attempting 2 even it out the Jack’s had a different agenda apparently
Yeah I’m growing a jack cross right now it’s definitely sativa leaning lol slow flower development so far on mine but I’m sure it’s gonna be some headstash quality
My big plants in 7 gal pots doing just fine. The ones in solo cups on the other hand look bad. I think I’m gonna switch to bottled water to see if that helps. Appreciate your insight.
My bf calls it the donkey d**k lol we might be adding another scrog net the way it’s growing height might become an issue they’re only in the 1st week of flower just gunna see how it goes take it as it comes
The oldest jack has some leaf curly not sure if its heat related will see if it worsens over night did adjust the fan down some to move the canopy more have another directed at the light to cool that down as well as one blowing under the canopy. Otherwise all 4 are starting to develop more hairs the two Jack’s are further along then the widow and nlxbb, all are still stretching has started to slow down in the Jack’s some the canopy is evening out nicely on the widow and nlxbb
Try some cal/mag
The leaf curling on the jack hasn’t worsened, all are getting a feeding tomorrow they are continuing to stretch the two Jack’s it seems have slowed down a bit giving the widow and NLxBB a chance to catch up the early miss auto is also getting its first feeding tomorrow will be less then the other 4 dont wanna stunt her growth by over feeding that’s all atm happy growing
The girls got a nice feeding this morning (except
the early miss auto) she will get a lesser feeding later today all are looking good the leaf curl on the jack has gotten better Am starting to research defoliation methods ie the best time to defoliate will probably wait another week to start that so the light can penetrate the bud sites better
Defoliation can happen when ever, but honestly more you leave on the better, the metric I go by is if a fan leaf is shading either a bud site and or is overlapping and or touching another fan leaf or node it goes. Or if needing to open a canopy for air purposes.
Will keep this in mind have been tucking the larger leaves in the net or trying to will be removing some in the next day or two your input really helps
More leaves equals more photosynthesis. Like @Mr.Sparkle I only remove the “must-go’s”
