Depending on you’re province. You get a prescription signed by a RN/LNP or a doctor.
I was thinking I just wanted to have 10 plants
, and I got my prescription filled for 10 grams a day which equals 49plants . Works for me lol with my shitty gardening skills I’ll needs 49 plants to maintain my prescription . So check out the calculator on you’re daily requirements for cannabis and it will correlate with plant license.
They send you the PRESCRIPTION + HC Forms the second you hang up phone after payment confirmed, 5-7 days then it’s on you to fill out the HC pages and submit.
I was lazy filling mine out, but after I sent them via UPS (I am now the store guy there), I got my license to cultivate in 3 weeks. Lucky . Just got to re apply yearly. Should probably make a google reminder.
Edit
@KanehB didn’t you get those Hindu Kush seeds from freeseeds???
Im going to order some i think If they still Have. I have a All the posting stuff now
https://lyteclinic.com/ is free up to a 5 gram/day prescription, you just have to make sure to tell them that you’re planning on growing your own and applying for the grow permit and they’ll send you the doctors note to attach to the grow application.
That’s where my wife got hers too, over 5 grams/day is when they start charging a fee. I’ve gone through different online services before, luckily my doctor finally referred me to a Cannabis clinic that was able to script 15g/day and I don’t have to pay any fees.
At first that’s what the new place my doc referred me to tried to do to me last year. Said he could only write one for 2.5grams. I just stood my ground and explained how much I use. By the end of the call he wrote me down for 15grams/day.
I would love to be able find a Dr in my area, as it is I would have to travel 2.5 hrs to see my current one. At least with the pandemic in play (which is an awful thing for me to say!) I’m still able to have my visits with him by phone.
Unfortunately, not many are taking new patients and most freak out when they see the amount of opioids I’m taking.
I got some of the Hindu Kush Regs from them in December. Very excited to run them for my next run. I haven’t seen Hindu Kush in over a decade, so excited to see what comes out of it.
I swear it was @Oldtimerunderground that hooked me and my partner up with this info in the summer and I ran with it and have a calendar note now for my renewal reminder 3 months in advance of expiry
This reminds me, I should get my plant count adjusted so that I can have more outdoors this year. I am currently registered to have only indoors.
Not sure if I should just get it adjusted, or just renew it. Runs out in July.
Most provinces give the option with the 4 plant per person but in Manitoba so far it’s only medical grow allowed so I got mine for a mix of both indoor and outdoor.
