The Central American landrace and heirloom thread (Part 2)

What’s it like?

Someone I think on this thread offered me some oaxacan seeds a couple of months ago and I turned him down and now can’t find the message.

So I know there are several good Oaxacan strains to grow and was wondering if someone can hook me up? I have a few strains to trade and will have more next year.

That is an analog timer no led and the strip doesn’t have a light thanks though. I do need to clean my tent didn’t get expect this grow to take this long lol. @greandal the outside one that I was calling Oaxacan think got misslabeled that’s the one that is the string of pearls pheno lol. The inside one is correct. We will figure it out one way or another but I bet I smoke it either way.
@Upstate the s.o.p. Oaxacan has little stem resin but is starting to get sandier feeling when rub the lower stem. Hope it’s not just dirt.
Have a good one all.

I’ll have to smoke it again. On the perfume/ incense tangent mostly, though neither word is accurate exactly either. Tough one.

Reposting because this is where these pics belong.

So was trying to move my supports to open up my Oaxacan inside and forgot about a garden tie

Heres oaxacan clone outside at 44 days of flower

Sorry about quality but being next to ancient lake bed means lots of wind constantly so hard to get good pick.
My oaxacan x red snake leaves are line green to white in spots looks cool trimming should be a breeze with this cannabal.

Great job @HeadyBearAdventures

Thanks homie! I have no frame of reference, but I’m really happy with her. Stem resin is visible under magnification, and as Upstate predicted, she just keeps filling in!
Edit: really happy with the decision to take her to a 3 gallon pot. I slowed her down enough in the 1 gallon that she won’t take over the tent, but I’ll still get a decent yield (such as it is with these individual calyces)

Dang @420noob sorry to hear about the breakage, did you lose much?
Nice structure on those buds!
You’ve got more weight at 40 days than I do at 70!

Actually no signs of stress at all. Now I screamed obscenities and broke shit but no the plant took it in stride. That little clone has me excited stacking calyxes and looking like buds but this clone is way farther then it’s mom inside flowering like 5-6 weeks. So my inside Oaxacan should have a decent yield I hope. The buds seem to be taking on a blueish hue to them just slightly but stacking nicely. Thanks @HeadyBearAdventures

Also glad I have 2 more clones of her just waiting to see if she’s a keeper. If she is I might have to send some cutting around. We’ll see though.

@420noob I had such a magnificent male plant out of the Oaxacan that I cloned him! If you find a keeper cut, I’ll cross them, guaranteed.

Well I’ll keep you in mind when these clones get bigger to start taking cuts not quite there yet .

You can kinda see them.
So my veg closet got turned into a herb and veg closet.

Here’s a better current pic of Oaxacan x red snake

Had to put big long flowers in shed overnight these winds are brutal.
My oaxacan string of pearls in the shed. Finally not moving from wind.

So I trimmed a very small branch from my string of pearls about 3 days ago was dry today and my girl and I got 2 hits each. Holy Shnikies! My girl and I had a nice head change quite pleasant. So now 2-4 more weeks of packing resin then should be ready to go hopefully or could be 4 more weeks on top of the fore mentioned 4 weeks.

Oops! Well…she’s opened up now lol. Some people do that on purpose today and it was quite common back in the sixties. She’ll be just fine. Heck, she may even be used to it😁…May even like it.( I don’t know why I thought yours was the last post of the thread… I hadn’t seen your updated post)
Oaxacan looking sexy. I see those bud clumps forming. When their formation slows down, it’s time to chop.
Just a couple more weeks for Oaxacan Red snake. You must be stoked!

Highland Guerrero #9

This one was slower to flower and slowest/last to start frost up and smell. Its now putting out some frost and string of pearl type of structure. Smell is more earthy or savory than the others.

So 45 day Oaxacan clone outside a little clearer. Also the red snake is almost out of fan leaves hell some are turning white but stuck fast.
