Hey mate if your looking for a cheap good plug and play I got a 2x2 spider farmer grow kit delivered to my door last yr for under $500. I’m sure they shipped outta Sydney. 100w led, 5 gal fab pots everything but the soil really. Only regret is not getting a 3x3 instead live and learn!
Awesome thread and read @FattyRoots thanks for this man. I’m on the sunny coast any fellow oz growmies always welcome to hit me up if you’re ever in the area.
I’ve been checking our all of the kits and there seems to be a greenfingers branded 2x2 supposed 100w blurple kit but I’m way too new to k ow whether that would be any good
I had a green fingers 4x8 tent many moons ago. I was running 3 x cheap viper blurples and a big noisy 6 inch fan lol. In my opinion it’s really worth spending a little more moolah for a full spec led. 100 watts should be as cheap as a blurple these days anyway really.
I got pretty lucky buying the p600 i was checking day after day for which would be the cheapest but decent and I got this shipped over the weekend for like $90aud which is $60usd, it says it draws 95Watts and seems to be doing the job
@Obsessed2251 @HealingHerb
Good to have some more Ausy lads in the mix, welcome to the Exchange. I used to live on the Sunny Coast @HealingHerb good place to live, not the best light cycle to grow broad leaf varieties outdoors though… definitely better for equatorials.
Can you boys do me a favour and if you want to discuss equipment especially prices and stuff take it to inbox, not trying to clog the thread cheers boys
Feel free to post plant pics though
I’m going to run a freakshow this outdoor season in a big pot, should be fun. Yea no worries fatty will do man ta.
Catalytic performance of "Ni–Co/HZSM-5" catalysts for aromatic compound promotion in simulated bio-oil upgrading
Interesting!
what kind were they ??
id be stoked to know some old stuff from back then has made it to today ,
i know i sent heaps of seeds around , but dont really hear of many from way back then …
this was a real shame i think too slain,
not much of the older stuff is around still ,
bits and pieces , but heaps have been lost …
Well howdy. This would have been probably 2004 or so. I believe you sent me some Ducks Foot and Neville’s haze or some such. I never got to finish them because I got.visited by the police and they took it all
oh sorry to hear that Kg,
it happened to me a few times also ,
i was thankful that in later years they missed my seeds ,
but early on a lot of good stuff was lost to those bastards ,
this year since march is the first time in 10 years ive been free of any court proceedings ,
or some sort of court order ,
so i intend to keep it that was as i really grew tired of the stress going to court causes ,
the fear of getting busted and of course the cost of lawyers ,
im thinking of moving in the not too distant future , so i can grow herb safely and in a better climate than where i am,
since climate change kicked in , the climate where i live has really gone to shit , its drizzling out there as i type where it should be a lovely sunny and dry time of year , hate rain in winter , lol …
Good to see you over here @wallyduck I forgot that your name got a mention early on in the thread. Make yourself at home, help yourself to a Coopers or if you prefer a Bundaberg ginger beer we have that too. I’m about to fire up the hot knives.
BTW I really enjoyed your Potcast, I always wondered about cultivating in far Nth Queensland. Very interesting stuff.
I definitely don’t miss those court dates either mate or the constant fines they hand out that seem to float the Australian economy. After leaving Aus in 07’ I haven’t paid a fine since. Do you know anyone who’s crossed the pond and enjoying the new Thai laws?
This year’s convict seed exchange varieties have been picked and ready to be passed out around the Great Southern Land, via my mate.
@KETAMINE_GRENADE cheers mate, if these turn out anything like your pics there will be some happy convicts out there.
I got mum to split all the packs so I’ll have some to grow out too
That Gorilla Butter looks bonkers
Next up some of @Budderton fine work. Going to give my friend’s dad who crushed it last year the Indian landrace stuff to grow, he’s pumped. BTW mate a third pack arrived of those 5, can’t thank you enough very generous of you. Definitely keeping some for myself too:)
I’m sure @wallyduck can chime in on some info on Kangas gear…
@Guitarzan Maui Mango Haze and MMH crosses will feature again this year, I’m especially interested in seeing how the (SD x C99) x MMH
turn out. Thanks again for the packs mate
@G-paS has 2 packs going in the mix this year. She’s always looking after us Aussies so only fair to see her seeds feature in the hot Ausy sun. Thanks for all you do
This is going to a friend with teenagers, not much gets past teenagers these days especially with the internet so hopefully they literally stay unseen ‘in plane sight’. He works for the government so a little extra paranoid than the average cat
I think this is from @SkunkHunt101, I’m not 100% sure of the lineage maybe you can help out mate? Either way they sound like they stink.
These I think came from @corey one of the fallen soldiers of the past. If anyone has info on them I’d be interested to hear.
Let’s see what El Niño brings to the Australian grow season. Beans should be getting wet around Aus Father’s day(first Sunday of September). Look forward to sharing the photos with anyone interested.
Bless, Fatty
Yes Disgust-O! Red eye Skunk x Skunk18 from The Nature Farm. Smelliest garbage can slime in rhe sun smell from these. Diaper pail its gross. I named it by rubbing the stem and its absolutly face cringing disgusting. Your gonna love em
I managed to find some SE Asian when I was living up in far North Queensland, it has some png in it too I think by the way some of them yellow out at the end. I was surprised to see some people still growing the old gear. Nice plants too.
definitely sativa girls there ,
nice big colas too man ,
what is the smell like , can u describe it ??
Beauties mate, I want hear about the smell too hopefully not just pinene. That nug looks great
Not just pinene although there is a bit of that along with humulene. There is some png mixed up with it as it was pretty common up in far North Queensland so you get the pineapple sweet smell and taste also. Also pepper and woodsy notes.
It’s definitely got the old school smell/flavour and is surprisingly potent but the best part is they are almost completely rot proof.
