The Convict Seed Exchange

Purple punch og 11ish wks taken down yesterday. Getting sweet and gassy aromas with some limonene thrown in. Typical og golf ball frosty nugs. Purple punch x star killer, not sure but it seems to lean toward the purple punch side.

14 weeks in a cab! That’s dedication man.l! Some of the big sativa up north here just never seem to finish, even outside. Somewhere I have a pic of a plant flowering on half the branches and vegging on the other!

It was a bit of a foolish thing to do but it paid heavy dividends.

Near daily training required. It was a 6’ tent and had I not intervened they would have easily hit 6’. Subtract pots and lights and space for filters and it was really a tight squeeze. I ended up with kind of a stadium style canopy because it was the only way to make it work and I had to remove what would have otherwise been lovely buds because I just couldn’t keep them out of the lights.

It was the Panama/malawi, one of the parents of the Haffa :+1:

I grow sativas mainly and many of my strains are 16+ weeks. The longest I had flowered for about 9 months, a landrace Manipuri. Took about 2 months to show flower and towards the end I had the light down under 10 hours and it was still putting out flowers. So many other strains came and went in the same tent but the Manipuri kept chugging along. Nice high but never again indoors for that one.

That would have absolutely killed me. Kudos for making it to the end.:fire:

Late report on the @HolyAngel SSDD F2 BX1 finished flower, the smell and taste are apparently on point and yield was good with around 3 pounds. Buds looks a little larfy to me which I’m guessing is due to being pulled a little early. Or maybe not enough P & K at the end but he’s stoked on them and with getting $2.6k a pound and keeping half a P for himself, his young family benefited too. Thanks again @HolyAngel the flower is currently being dispersed around the south coast of the Victor Harbour region, beautiful place to enjoy some SSDD.

A snug seal in a vacuum bag will tighten those buds right up .

2.6 Aussie is 1.7 yankee but I’d believe it. Seen the price skyrocket in places before they went legal. In Canada they cut off a lot of supply from BC and price doubled fairly quickly, this was before legalization. Also a lot of other things going on then with cracking down on organized crime in general. Quality went down price went up, could get over $4k easy for anything with taste and clean looking ash  now where I live they got a sign on the highway “Home of the $10 ounce”.

I haven’t quite seen $10 but this is also my experience.

There’s a sub market inside the medical market here where the guys who are actually masters of their craft get insane prices for small batches that sell out instantly. Most of the other people I come in contact with are salesmen at best.

Seen a sign in BC that offed 20 dollar ounces just a few weeks back.
