The Convict Seed Exchange

Yeah off season here it’s not unheard of to get 4K an lb for decent gear but then it gets down to 2800 in the months after harvest. Weed has been 250-300 an oz for as long as I can remember.

Exactly haha, $400 a gram and it’s been up more butt holes than John Hopoate’s finger… :joy:

Yeah that’s normal, it’s still $200 an O in SA been that way since the 90’s. Hard to make money on a P for 3.2 at 200 an O Z, it’s gotta go interstate. In northern California circa 2015 we used to get $2500, now the same farm is begging for $500. Market’s ass fell out hard on the US West Coast. A lot of it gets sent down here to central America and people pay top dollar for it.

Holly shit, that’s getting back to a dime bag actually costing a dime. It must be some pretty sub par product. I only have good weed memories of British Columbia. I lived out there for a couple years in 99’, scored some Blueberry off a street dealer on East Hastings and still to this day top 5 flower I’ve smoked. It was blue in colour and stunk like Blueberries, I remember being so high in the Blunt Brothers coffee shop(RIP) I was forgetting to breathe… can’t say that part of the high was too enjoyable haha. The warehouse/apartment thing above the coffee shop was a killer spot to buy smoke. They had to buzz you up, as a 19 year old I was tripping out on the leniency in BC… very lax.

I dunno who John Hopoate is and I don’t wanna know.

Which means, of course, that I’m about to Google him and read everything I can about him. “Pervert who’s obsessed with anal sex? Okay, fine, I guess I’ll read about it…” haha.

Gawd. Damnit….

I saw the rugby gif in the previous post and figured it was somehow related; now I know for sure… haha!

In Brisbane there is a statue that we have always colloquially known as Hopoate‘s hand:

Who the fuck is this fucker?!? And why I have I never heard about him until yesterday??? He sounds like a gawddamn legend… haha.

Just outta curiosity, is it against rugby rules to “pull a Hopoate”? Does he get ejected for fingering other players’ assholes? I know nothing about rugby, although I did watch quite a few matches when it was the only sport on tv during COVID. I loved it, even though I had no idea at all what was going on or what the strategy was haha. I think my not knowing what they were doing was actually part of the appeal.

Edit: never mind, I just googled him. It says he was “the most-suspended player of the modern era,” so… I guess you can’t pull a Hopoate after all haha.

Oh man I almost missed this! Fantastic! Glad to hear she put down for your buddy out there! That particular one does look a little airier than I’d like or used to seeing too, but what can you do  least it meant no mold/bud rot! Frost and everything else looks/sounds on point! Glad people are enjoying it. Tell your buddy I said thanks for running it and sending over all the pics and info for you to share :slightly_smiling_face:

This season is about to kick off, my mate’s 70 year old dad is already off to the races. He might just end up on the 6’oclock news yet haha.

He’s got some of @KETAMINE_GRENADE seeds in the dome and some @G-paS Cherry Festival, he’s going to have to tie those things downs come February.

His son sent out the seeds this year mixed with a bit of good ol’ Ausy humour

He’s an actual pharmacist this mate

I think @Budderton and @Guitarzan gear will come together like butt cheeks

Hey @FattyRoots! Fellow Aussie, living abroad here. I’ve got more seeds than I need so i’m gonna ask friends/family back home if they want any. Is there anything specific about mailing into Oz I should know about? Have you had any problems or done anything different?

@Loggershands hey mate, not really. The stantard OG flip and card seems to work well. Corrugated cardboard also has made it. I think it depends more where it’s being sent from, Canadian stuff hasn’t had the best strike rate as of late

Yeah flips seem to be the most reliable, I have heard that customs here has a new X-ray machine that is capable of detecting seeds in a package, but I don’t think regular letters are scanned.
