The Gossamer Years

I haven’t found a format for these updates that I like yet. It always looks a bit awkward.

Let’s begin with the 2x2 containing the Road Kill Skunk and 2 Black Pishin seedlings. We’re Tonight marked the 12th day of Veg.

The above seedlings are the Pishin. Ginger is recognizeable because her leaves are a bit longer and narrower.

Chicle’s are shorter and wider.

I noticed some leaf curling after increasing the PPFD to ~500, so I’ve returned it to ~230 to see if I can get the seedlings to perk up again. I also did a bit of damage allowing residual droplets of my fertilizer to sit on the leaves.

The Road Kill Skunks:

I’ve also culled 3 mutants tonight:

The top right one looks normal enough to stay… for now.

2x4 Cake Face Reproduction. Day 49 of Flower.

The right two Face Off leaning females smell like fuel right now, with the shorter ones having a mix of fuel and sweetness. It also appears that the Face off leaners don’t enjoy a flush every third feed. They seem hungry.

4x5 Currently serving as a mother tent.

I’ve received a Motorbreath #15 clone from @hoss8455, which I’m extremely grateful for.

Before I changed my “favoriter strains” list on here, Motorbreath was one of the few on there. I plan to take some clones of it and dedicate one tent to monocrop it.

I’m ass at keeping clones, I’ll be honest.

This is Plim, she looks the roughest but they all have the same light yellow coloring going on. I’m going to be taking clones once I see some new growth in the 1 gals

With that said, I’ve culled all plants but Plim Plim (ABF Bagseed), Butanese (CraftyFlame’s), and Pudding(ABF Bagseed). Pucca was an awesome smoke, but she selfed herself. No other plant had seeds in their flower except Pucca.

Random Shit

I’ve dug a soil pit.

I’ll be working on my home’s soil intensely for the next few years. I plan to track as much of it on here to maybe give ideas to others as to what they can do. I’ll be taking some soil samples on Monday and will do a little write up on how to determine the texture of your soil using a hydrometer and a large graduated cylinder.

I’m still working on getting these Thurja Green Giant seeds to germinate, but I’ve had zero luck with over 120 seeds.

So I went ahead and ordered a 1 quart established tree to hopefully grow to a size where I can take 91 clones from it.

I was also unsuccessful with the 2 Black Bamboo seeds I had planted previously, so I planted 3 more tonight.

I’ve been searching for a trustworthy Black Mondo Grass seeds, but wasn’t able to find any so I purchased a small 1 gallon plant from Home Depot.

And I’ve purchased the following perennial seeds:

I hope we all get to see some of these grow out in the next few months.

Lastly, I was talking with my dirtied toed pal this evening about how that new Potcast episode that gives a shout out to the Co-Op runs here will most likely attract a rough crowd of randos. Therefore, we gotta stay safe up in here.

Take care, mis pals.
