The Green Stash NL5 Hunt

Thank you, never failed to get quality from this seedline and Green Stash has kept it IBL’d since the late 90s.

Thanks man, appreciated.

The stem rubs are really interesting. All have a pine undertone, or it dominates with the far right plant. The trashy smelling stem rub has the pine but the trash dominates, like a fermented bin!

One has started to develop a eucalyptus (almost but not quite menthol) smell under the musky pine (which is different to the straight forward pine of the far right plant).

The one in veg is all musky pine. So you’d expect a theme and pine is it, but in varying proportions, sometimes in the background, sometimes dominates.

As these flower I’m going to showcase the phenos seperately to keep track of traits.

That’s awesome you are getting so much variation of expressions. It would be cool to keep 2. One that dominates pine, the other that has all those nuance smells and flavors. If you still had a pollen donor still, it would be cool to see if there is more variation.

From what I could see from pictures. They look healthy.

Thanks man, there is loads of variation in this line, I’m looking for the more thin leaf expressions, they crop up a lot.

The goal is to try and keep at least two, I’ve got 4 cuts of each so far but still 2 in veg (lucked out with 6 females).

Thanks Nick, much appreciated. With 4 females flowering and 2 in veg, the project has just got longer!

5.6 in veg, repotted into a 4 gallon while she waits for the flower tent to have space.

This one is the nearest to the killer pheno I had before; lanky, thin leaves, probably lower yield. Bodes well.

This is 5.4. While in veg I took a cut and just stuck it in the same pot for a laugh, but it rooted so I could cull the main plant to save space. Stem rub reeked on this one, strong strong musky pine.

Cuts of 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4

Cool man im doing a mini chemdog project atm. Its fun searching for nice plants to keep and or breed with. Funny …northern lights is one cultivar i don’t have in seed. I grew it 2x and really enjoyed it. Too stuck on blue genetics i guess.

Isn’t it. The Chem search is a good one to go through, Guerilla Fumé is the one apparently to get closest to the 91 in seed form, but I still found some variation, but all really good smoke.

I’ve got CSI ChemD S1s to continue searching yet but having such a small space with S1s I’ve only grown 1 and it just wasn’t a killer pheno.

That investment in time and effort sucks if the meds don’t work for my friend, who’s tolerance is huge. This forced me down the IBL route (hence the Pucks which were superb).

Never had a mediocre plant with this Green Stash NL5, all killers, no fillers! With 6 females and cuts taken it should provide enough meds to give me some search time for other genetics and S1s being fems makes it a little easier to manage and I can afford some mediocre phenos if we have a load of good NL5.

Cheers for dropping by.
