The Grow Room

I used to be a frequent contributor here, but as happens to many of us, life became a lot busier with work and family commitments. I didn’t have enough time to keep up with everything. Add to it some health issues that came up and eventually I had to stop growing for a while.

As some things have slowed down a little, I carved out a little time for me to spend some time on the forum. I decided instead of picking up the old thread, to start a new one instead. A place where anything can be discussed, except politics. Growing, sports, travel, cooking, life. Everything is open for discussion here.

During my time down I sold some of my equipment. I upgraded some of what I was keeping. I rearranged my grow space and added a socializing area.

I am an organic soil grower, and since I travel a lot for work, I try to find ways and items to help me maintain my grow.

Earthboxes, watering saucers and moisture meters have been big helps for me to maintain plants. I use Earth Science and AC Infinity grow bags for my final up pot.

I have 3 autos, Malawi Terror Beast by Roc Bud, growing outside. This is my first time really trying with autos. They have approximately 7 weeks left.

I have 4 Colombian Gold in different stages of flower. 1 is over 8 feet despite me breaking her top. She is closing in on 12 weeks in flower.

The other 2 in the tent have been in flower for 2 weeks. They are in 3-gallon plastic pots.

There is also a Paonia Purple Paralyzer. She is over 7 feet tall. She is 6 weeks in flower, along with a Passion Fruit Papaya. There is also 1 of 2 Bruce Banners in there. She is 2 weeks in flower.

Thanks @Panamajock, I appreciate the kind words.

How did your Colombian turn out? Did you find any interesting plants?

I have one right now that reminds me of the mom. She grew different than any others I have grown.

All your plants are really healthy looking, what sour are you running there? Are you building your own soil or running a pre made soil?

Hey @Mrgreenthumb, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate the kind words. I am just a waterboy at this point. The plants and soil do all the work.

I have been using the same soil for 5 years now. I amend it after the previous grow. Most of the soil has been setting dormant the past couple of years.

Sorry. The Diesel in this run is from Seed Supreme.

Hello @Help60. Thanks for stopping by. Your plants look good. They seem very healthy. When you say inexperienced, is this your first grow?

You have plants in the green house and just outside, is that because of local laws?

2nd time growing 1st time only used reading material this time wanted live help. the OG Kush is biggest plant i think it is intimidating. Greenhouse and outside because just trying to have control over some of environment any advice would be grateful especially the Kush

OK. Do not be intimidated by the plant @Help60. If you top it, it will still fill up volume in the green house. If you can, I would just let them grow outside. Once they hit flower, they will stretch again. Your plants look good, I think you are doing great.

Here is one of my favorite Colombian Gold plants. She is unique for me.

She is starting week 6 in flower. I cleaned her up and shaved her legs.

This Colombian is starting week 7 in flower. She is standing in front of an 8’11" tent. She is in a 3 gallon plastic pot.

I cleaned her up and shaved her also.
