I use rain water. I do reuse soil. Neem oil I don’t really hammer them. Yes I use dawn. I use dawn. Works great with hydrogen peroxide and a little alcohol. Also use spray starch. It washes off it’s easy to target something with that spray can.
I think the panic sensation is related to elevated heart rate and vasodilation, certain terps probably make that worse, but that is a key side effect of just a good old fashioned too high dose.
Dose, set, setting.
All cannabis gives me an initial heart rate rise and somewhat anxiety and paranoia at first… but after 30min or so it dissipates and I’m in my comfy zone. It’s all about being in control of your mind.
Obviously I don’t know the conclusive answer on this topic otherwise my Original Post (“OP”) would have been different.
Shortly after my OP, I decided to try cannabis again after so many years.
I finally found 4 different buds to test.
One had mild paranoia but I was able to talk myself down.
The other 3 were pure pleasure with zero anxiety attacks nor any panic attacks.
But I was highly selective and didn’t try any that I could not hear about the background of it (i.e. indoor/outdoor, soil conditions, timing of harvest, curing, strain, etc).
…and just like that, i started smoking again.
cannabis is kind! i had similar story like you. just found a new kind medierranian line today. daytime cbd cultivar, weheee
Awesome article that folks should read! Thanks
mmh, but in a world full of chemical Cannabis… one could come to the conclusion genetics dont matter… and its all cause chemicals. wich is not the case… Didnt i read such an article and somebody said it wasnt true what was claimed?
After that the discussion flattened.
i never hear this topic come up since 4 yerars ago when couple sources talked about this… so i think it maybe was debunked? dunno
I recently switched to vinager apple cider and burnt the fuck out the test plants. But the more i read healthly plants dont have bugs or pest. They send out a signal when stressed and then the bugs come to get rid of the decaying material which is on alive plants sometimes.
Undoubtedly genetics matter most, but chemical cannabis is at an alltime high and far more prevalent than it ever has been before, with few studies on long term effects of vaping, etc. Im sure you and everybody here knows😅, but everything used in the process before and after adds something to it. From nutrients to pesticides to extraction techniques to vape oil used. It’s definitely a nature + nurture + add-ons =? Anymore.
I liked the article though even if it has been debunked because I had been suffering BAD everytime Id eat dispo edibles, and It kind of sprang up out of nowhere, and certain ones I have no issue with including the ones made at home. So even if there’s nothing proven of it doesn’t mean that the hearsay is unfounded either.
Weed science used to be, and still is by degree an underground community built on hearsay techniques and “bro science” cross tested over the years. This site is a perfect example, and by God you guys and gals got it down to a science now!!! Fucking glorious the info available! Keep on keeping on!
Edit:sorry definitely sounds preachy now that I’ve reread it. I don’t know wtf I’m talking about most of the time!
@V4vendetta sorry to hear the testees didn’t like the apple cider vinegar. How much did you use?
This x1000
Too damn much. Washing it off wasnt much help. Might as well sprayed bleach on them.
Damn ! Sorry to hear it. Hopefully they bounce back yet! Smart hedge starting with testers tho. Good luck with it
Sometimes it happens. I hope it wasn’t to bad. I make mistakes a lot. It’s painful. Lol
Last year I took a hit of GG#4 from a buddies bong and had a 5 hour long panic attack. Fucked depth perception, fucked balance, couldn’t think of ANYTHING. I had to drive 30 minutes back home and it didn’t hit me until I was already driving. I had to pull over and get a bottle of water. When I was going 50, it felt like I was going 100. I couldn’t focus my eyes on anything. First and last time I ever felt that way. Shit was scary.
Edit: My heart was racing so fast that I couldn’t tell if my heart was beating or not. It was like a 5 hour long heart beat. My body was so numb I couldn’t feel the thump. That’s what freaked me out the most.
Stardawg does this to me. I hear stuff when I smoke it. Usually someone shouting my name so I call out responding. When your sat with people and that happens it in turn gets them paranoid
I’ve been there a lot through the years on all kinds of weed. Tolerance, set, and setting all play into it. Usually it hits in the first half hour and is gone after an hour or so. Can be very uncomfortable, especially if I’m in public, waiting in line or something. Helps to lose myself in some kind of activity, like drawing or painting, hiking, or bike rides. If it is really bad can start to head rush/black out, at that point I get some ice water and find somewhere to lay back and breath, usually takes care of it within minutes. There are some tricks for stopping panic attacks that I heard about recently, sounds silly, but sour candy or strong peppermint can flood your sympathetic system and pull you out of it, also CBD will reign it in as well.
The bong can really hit hard, I have been there for sure. I go really light on bong hits and wait a good while unti I have a feel for where the high is at before proceeding…
This was during the peak of my dabbing phase so idk really what happened lol. All those terps must have hit me all at once.
The best way to get the panic attack results is to smoke early harvest bud. It will also help if the bud is very potent.
The problem with bud that produces the anxiety, paranoia and panic attacks is that your body will become used to it rather quickly.
It’s kinda like watching a scary movie for the first time and reacting to a particularly horrible scene.
Those scenes that make you jump and scream out loud aren’t quite as effective the second or 3rd time that you watch the same film.
The same rules applies with panic inducing bud because fear introduces stress to our body.
The last thing our body wants is stress so it will devise methods to cope. Most of the coping techs that are body use are done semi subconsciously.
For instance, smoking a lesser amount, or taking smaller hits, and choosing a different strain because your body doesn’t want to go through that stress again.
It’s hard to smoke bud a panic inducing bud without thinking about ways to prevent the attack. So the best way to achieve the panic is to let your mind go, and inhale very deeply, as if it was the first time smoking that particular strain. Don’t hold back as you exit the realm of getting high, and enter into the state of being fux’d up. Getting messed up is where the panic attacks hide, it’s up to you if you dare to go there because fear will hold you back. Don’t be scared
That’s my Serbian Film experience lol
