hah hah the difference is the 14mm pipe it goes straight into the mushroom. That other one is half the size! Probably 7mm pipe hole into the mushroom cluster.

It’s like very stiff taffy. If you use a pin it will stretch but with a quick pull it snaps. Would be interesting to whip maybe

I would say that’s actually normal for some freeze dried materials.
Here’s the PCK hash, slowly drying! There is plenty of water ice left in there, but I’ll go and give it a couple smashings with my fist. That will speed it up a bit.

Mixed bag whip! Something is happening to the mixed bag one. Not sure what it is, yet! The big bud one still looks like something you would get out of a rosin press.

The first shot looks like an emulsification but the second doesn’t… or perhaps it is but on a different scale? 
I’m thinking ambient temperature/viscosity & strain might be applicable variables?
I’ll spark one and cogitate further…

If I put my bakers cap on and look at the outcomes of the hash whipping, I would suspect there are more plant lipids in the ones that glooped up into a solid mass. Sort of like the difference between making ice cream out of skim milk VS heavy cream.

My secret to victory is really the big bud I got from AMS. There were 20 seeds I sprouted, that I whittled down to 2 candidates. This strange looking plant won with the flavor. Hash making test had produced more hash than the buds were worth. That seems to be the key right there in the numbers game.
It would be easy to lose the contest, I just have to use one of the other strains I grow to make the hash hah hah!
