SPARKLES!!! yay! I’ve still got the plants that were much better off, to process later. The ones I didn’t have to struggle to the end with due to no oxygen. I think I can get over a hundred grams of hash with just a couple of plants.

Oh yah, also I got far less hash smeared on the bags this time. I put more ice in so perhaps that was the difference. Also instead of stirring around in circles, I went back and forth. Nirvana and red hot chili peppers playing meanwhile.

I’ll take a dab shot as well! Next time I make the hash I will make a hash film. I remember how excited people were for that tech. I’ll use oil slicks for it this time instead of that nasty teflon sheet.

So I’ve learned something for sure. The terp timer gets dirty, right? But the instructions are only to clean the outer layer and never the laser. So you get shit in the laser. It happens, cause the fucking thing is facing upwards. Right where you are dabbing molten hash. I notice the laser is off by a bit, because the crystal can glow red it’s like ohhh that’s 415C… In a pigs eye.
So I get out the isopropyl, 99.9% and give it a q-tip scrub. Q-tip it with the dry end too, and go again until I can look and see the laser down there is clean.
Now, your terp timer is going to say it’s -50C, after you do that. You will never find any hints on why that happens, but it has to do with cleaning it off with alcohol. The secret is to just wait…and wait… and wait hah hah eventually the alcohol finishes evaporating and the temp sensor returns to normal. Don’t worry, it happens every time.

I am going to be making another hash batch out of the GojiOG… probably in 2 days? I’ll change it up a bit and see what happens. I hate to fuck around with a god tier batch, but also I love to fuck around.

GojiOG God tier that I got from a special persons donation from the OG seed box. Anyone who got the GojiOG seeds, there is a huge variation in hash productivity and you can find an ultimate producer.

i really wish they talked more about the plants on hash church, it’s like they talk about everything else besides the very best hash making plants and specifically trichomes. Heh. They do have some interesting convos though

lol! You are definitely bringing up one of my serious complaints I shared with Marcus bubbleman. I was like hey… Do the panel members actually know what hash is made out of? Of course they did, so Marcus spent an hour with an image of the trichomes on the screen.
Occasionally they bring in someone who is an expert in trichome morphology. Now… like I think this is what I detected. There is a current through the group that you have to spend 20 years getting in touch with growing good weed before you can make the full melt. Even though Marcus says that some people can pull it off in their first grow. I tell them it’s about the genetics of the plant, not how it’s grown.
Soo… I listen and watch. I noticed Best Friend Farms always hints it’s purely genetics. Chimera/Ryan… now there is a dude who will nonstop talk about the genetics being the singular thing.
I’m not sure the “git gud grower” and the “genetics makes the hash” groups can resolve the gap. I know the answer is git good grower = more buds = more hash, but also, if the plants genetics are shit, even the best hash artist can’t make gold.

one problem is that visibly very frosty plants don’t necessarily make great hash and that is hard for people to wrap their minds around
