The REAL "Skunk" I WAS THERE

Heh I understand. Let me ask you…about fruit of the looms and it’s logo with the fruits. How do you remember that, was there a “fruit basket” in the background…? Don’t google - remember.
Or the Monopol banker…did he have monocle or not…
I’ll tell you the answer and why I’m asking later. :v:
It’s weird.

I’ve actually considered starting a thread on the Mandela Effect but I figured it was too out there for the growers here. Some things in life seem to mysteriously change over time and skunks definitely fit in with that idea lol

Heh totally. :joy:
I was watching a video about this one night and then this thought popped to my head what abt that lost sour/skunk hunt hmm… is there some quantum shit going on or have we switched universes or what… :joy:

I’ve always kinda had this suspicion that somebody down the line back then may have even stooped so low as to spray skunk scent on it. Lol. Don’t know why I think it but i do.

Maybe some did but theres real skunk herb. I used to think the same thing about blueberry. Thought someone may have soaked their buds in blueberries. And im sure some did. But I came to find out in both instances there’s cannabis with those flavors and aromas. No magic add ins. Just good old quality grown lady cannabis showing off what she’s got.

Back before the terp spray craze I used to see people in the hood spraying down reggie with sugar water and let it dry so it looked all crystally like high grade so I wouldn’t put it past anyone to do something dumb like that

I’ve seen it all from sprayed with sugar or fibre glass(the Dutch) to fake flavours there’s very little some people won’t do to make a buck this is why you grow your own or only buy off of who you know well probably somebody has sprayed skunk essence on buds at somepoint too

Finally got a bunch of these photos back from a broken device.

East Coast Skunk pheno

Selected from Skunk #1 seeds from the '90s that were held all this time and passed down last year.

Indica dominant, fast flowering, broad leaf pheno. Very popular structure on the East Coast / North East, as well as BC, due to climate and short growing season. Leaves as big as 5 gal bucket lids. Grown in aeroponics.

Smells like skunk spray and a tire fire during flowering. Taste is a heavy tire fire / rubbing cement / skunk spray.

Craziest double serrated leaves I’ve ever seen:

The indica phenos of Skunk #1 are the best. They are rare but highly sought after!

Long as it ain’t the one pheno that tastes like dirt I’m talking earthier and peatier than anything else I’ve ever tried I don’t mind a bit of notes like that but not just that flavour and nothing else

Yeah, it’s messed up!

100% just to add some weight to it. Just like all the terp sprayed trash the market is flooded with. A lot of it is sprayed hemp/weed that was extracted that’s sprayed/resold. Thankfully i know growers and buy directly from one.

At the same time those earthy tasting phenos HIT. Most of the older imported landrace i had an earthy taste to them and a few hits got me stoned for hours.

I do remember the cardboard flavored wide leaf phenos but those were also rare. Basically trash as far as I’m concerned. But the magical super skunk type was a one to look for. It’s the one Nevil was always talking about. I was lucky enough to find some but unfortunately they didn’t get saved

So we’ve been working at this older woman’s house. She started talking about the cold weather and her plants which she had a few lol. she has this one blackberry kush plant and that thing stinks like full on skunk spray. Can’t smell the skunk up close but from 50ft and out past that all you smell is all skunk. Figured I’d past that along.
