The Threat of Oxidation to Cannabis Compounds

This is very true!

Do you have any desire to respond to the folks wanting to test your product? I’d do it too. I grow a fair bit. I’m open to running your machine at your parameters and I’ll have the buds samples blind.

Round of applause for you though. This has been, I think, the worst entrance of a sponsor I’ve been around for. You’ve barely even made an attempt at two way conversation, haven’t provided any sources but your own site.(By the way, you can’t use yourself as a resource. That’s not how research works) I sincerely hope this thread comes up when folks search your product. No one here is saying your product is a bust. It’s you, your approach, your poor communication and your parroting of the same info you haven’t been able to discuss in detail. You haven’t shown pictures of buds after the unit, you can’t come up with reviews from the “hundreds of thousands” of growers you claim to have switched. You’re in Michigan, right? Have you talked with facilities? Have you been to home growers events and spoken with them? You talk about over drying in your profile. Do you care to elaborate on that? Like, what can you talk about? What is over dry to you? Does wet trimming and bucking speed up oxidation?

Here’s a study looking directly at how drying impacts terpenes. The science says you should be using IR to most efficiently dry quickly. Does your machine include IR? Do you care to read the study and give or have any sort of intelligible discourse?

Proves entire slow and low narrative wrong. Upsets cry baby growers with facts. If it were not true I would not be here. The date is sound. Like I said get over it. Oh and Im sure Joe just loves you harassing all the vendors on this site. Clowns like you are just hurting him in the long run. Look at all this BS you start to put up:rofl::rofl::rofl: IR:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: you guys just try and twist anything to fit your narrative:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: Twist it how you want. Oxidation happenes faster than thermal degrataion. GAME OVER. IR:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: oh thats a good one.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I do not have a lot of extra money but at this point, i’m willing to contribute whatever it takes to make sure my fellow contributors and friends are not harassed and insulted on a regular basis. Do not underestimate our resources, time and dedication to this plant and each other. Just look at all the server fundraisers and also fundraisers for users going through hard times. I haven’t seen that anywhere.

I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention who all these other (right now 28 users) are in this thread but they are mostly really competent mature growers. This isn’t r/microgrowery. There is no point in even continuing reasonable discussion as it reverts to “nanana booboo.” This should be closed on cheap chatGPT explanation that wasn’t even fully edited to try and hallucinate an explanation because you cannot find one in the literature. I can do that for literally anything.

I don’t think anyone is gonna buy your janky dehydrator and switch the way they grow weed. Just because some snobby salesman comes in and tells them that the 10k growers using this thing (supposedly lol) makes everyone else wrong. How many facilities are using this thing?

As people already mentioned, this thing is prob a white labelled 20 dollar dehydrator that is being sold for way more because it’s for weed.

I’ll stick to hang drying.

Knowing your demographic is a big part of business and you are trying to reach the wrong demographic here. The Knowledgable grower isn’t your demographic, that is very clear and that’s ok but don’t try and convince veteran growers that a device geared towards the new grower with limited knowledge is some new end all be all because you say so lol. The wine fridge guys are way ahead of this to be completely honest. Repurposing is cool but up charging is not innovating, it’s opportunistic. Just like that bubble magic “hash washing machine” that is exactly the same as a portable clothes washing machine but the cannabis one is marked up 400 percent. Same deal here. I’m sure these have a place on somebodies grow room shelf but let’s be honest it will be a newer grower that is learning the ropes. The people pushing back here have many many many harvests under our belts. I would love to do a side by side but no way in hell I’m paying 200 plus shipping for this. That’s very steep for what it is.

If that’s what you need to move forward. You will be stuck in a rut for a long time. Make it about you:rofl:. That’s ok other vendors and growers already know about the this site and the Mr.Know it all in it. Oh, yeah beleive that I got lots of messages from people telling me about you clowns in. So yeah, keep it up. Keep pushing the old, out dated info. Because the more you do. The more growers turn away. You see the war is already over and slow and low lost. You just dont understand that because you are in deinal. Have a nice day. Oh and to the guy posting pictures if a knockOff food maker that is not sold anywhere. This post is about Oxidation. Why are you harassing me? This goes against the rules of this community.:rofl::rofl: BUSTED!!!

And that’s where you sir are wrong. You think Vet growers are stuck in there ways? :rofl:ok. Dont try and get a marketing job anywhere. The opposite is happening. Because like most in here are pushing wrong/out dated info. Info that is baised on opinions and preferences geared to “their” (the so called “experts, the OG’s”) narrative. This is why what many of you are trying to prop up fails. Again Im sorry I hurt all your feeling with some truth. Im not here to fight. Im only sharing real info that helps growers make better decisions. Im not a salesman Im a grower of many years. This post is about how oxidation happens at a faster rate than thermal degration at normal room temps. Im glad I made so many think. Win, win, win !!! :100:

Dude, just stop. The Only people using your device are people that can fit 6 ounces in it. Little new hobby home growers that can’t wait to try their first crop. You are not targeting large growers with experience or licensed producers and you know that or you would have a large system being used in many facilities. You are targeting the 4x4 tent grower. Let’s talk about the time it takes for chlorophyll to degrade? Are you saying your product puts trichomes into stasis until the degradation of chlorophyll catches up weeks later in the jar for a properly cured product? Your machine does not speed up chlorophyll degradation, correct?

Again, this post is about oxidation Vs thermal degrading. You people want to keep breaking the rules. There is a post we can talk all about how you are wrong about it:100::wink: Have a great day see you there:+1:

Ok, in order for chlorophyll to degrade, oxidation is needed….

Chlorophyll is a unstable molecule. It breaks down rapidly. It is a non issue. Why would you drag that up? This is about what is happening faster. Oxidation or thermal degration at room temps. See this is the denile I speak of. You are looking for reasons to make this a good thing.:rofl::rofl: Priceless. This is all you need to know…Oxidation = Bad :+1:

I bought 1. Dried weed really well. Crispy. Day later in a jar it was moist. Hung a branch at same time to compare. Both tastey good pot. Machine dried a little harsher. Possibly didn’t cure long enough. Didn’t like the bud handling part of the xmas tree style. Not new or in a 4x4 tent. Outside grower and liked the space saving. Put D and 91 little taster nugs in there this morning. Good for that in 4 days. Seems great for seed makers too. After the initial experiment rest of harvest has been hung. Easier less steps.
Know there are other growers on OG that regularly use theirs. You’re up against a lot here. The willingness to stand on the product with pitchforks and torches surrounding you is admirable. Noone active in this thread was a potential customer. Readers are another story though and your vibe ain’t easy. Defensive insulting and evasive. Running for office? Haha.

Chill, you gots to

@Bayarealivingsoil How much could you fit in the machine at one time?

I brought up because curing weed involves degradation of chlorophyll, not just drying and preserving terpenes. If this was for hash maybe but that’s what fresh frozen is for, this is for flower that will need to cure via oxidation for a much better smoking experience. If this product does not speed up degredation of chlorophyll and only slows oxidation of terpenes for a brief period than curing is still necessary to achieve a proper smoke either way, unless you are advocating for bud still full of chlorophyll and smokes green? Are ypu saying with your product a cure is not necessary?you are going to lose terpenes to oxidization at some point no matter what during the curing process of chlorophyll degradation in turn making this machine completely useless as a cure will always be needed becuase of said chlorophyll. A quick dried flower takes longer for chlorophyll to degrade as it longs in the green taste, needing a longer cure time to degrade and by your logic will lose more terpenes because of your own product making a longer cure necessary. Thats why

I can not respond to that question in this post. The haters will report me for breaking rules. There is a post already up where I will answer this question and any other in it. We will be posting much more OG posts also look out for those.

I got the three extra trays. Not a fan of flattened flowers. Xmas tree style 4-6 branches?
