Mothers milk now smells fruity  everything else is humming along I think I’m about a week away from gorilla slippers having a 10" cola very curious to see how much it weighs when it’s done

Also what are thoughts on putting another of the exact same light in the tent to finish flowering? I have access to a second one same exact thing I would think it’s to much especially with it not being able to be turned down but the lux meter has me thinking especially @Howard.Crane was getting twice the amount using the same meter
even with sensor difference it surely couldn’t be that off so a second exact light should bring me close to your number but 300 something actual watts so no very efficient but I’m not horribly worried about 300 watts on my electric bill lol

You use the same device to compare?

No same program but it’s twice the number that’s a big difference couldn’t imagine that all sensor related I’ll download the program on to something else first

The quality of the reading depends much more on the device you are using than the program on the device but check what your light is supposed to throw for comparison to what you are reading

Factory says 1558 at 12" maybe I’m reading this meter wrong cause I’m getting 1606 or 16062 using the x10 multiplier thing it’s doing so if anything it’s reading a little high I may go pick up that other light later in the week and try it for a day or two see what happens…it is a thunderdome after all time something spiced up

For what it’s worth, I’m running 3x HLG 100W quantum boards in that 2x4 tent, so roughly 300W total, or about 35W per square foot. I’ve been quite happy with those levels.

In my cabinet I run one of those boards in a 2x2 area, or roughly 50W per square foot, and it seems to be a little much at times but grows some good bud.

Id say you’re fine cause they are growing fine and happy and youll have to slowly work it upwards. Main thing about growing is doing what you want and some people do calculate yeild by watts so i dunno what to think. If the lights already yours then theres no reason not to test them running together to see what the readings are. Just dont smack em with 30k lumens from 15k your meter sounds like its reading right though.

Unfortunately they don’t have any way to turn the power down on them I think I will just raise them both to the top of the tent and slowly lower them down

Leave the one that you have going at its current height and start the other from the top maybe? Im not sure on your spacing for setting up lights

It’s 2 x 2 the way the cross bars run up top I’m gonna end up with basically a light bar across the middle

Ahhh i see. Mine is literally a snug fit 22x22 inch thing which you probably saw when cola was making it but for reference here it is

Cola does make a damn fine light no doubt much more efficient than California Light Works lol I may be inquiring his knowledge for this other project I’m about to start on because after first harvest I would like to replace all the HPS maybe with custom builds and maybe even do all that WiFi shit too

Its honestly a shame start-up money wasn’t easier to come by me and him have had several conversations about him starting a company of his own I know he would produce a quality product

Can I ask what’s your harvest weight range out of the 2 x 2? I know there’s a million variables but just curious what people are actually getting out of 2x2s

Not sure, as I don’t really keep track.

From looking at what I have left, it looks I got three large mason jars mostly full on my last pull, plus a bunch of larfy undergrowth that got turned straight into Green Dragon for edibles. It was pretty crazy in there, though. The plants were literally holding each other up, and more than half were sativa dominant strains that shaded everything they could, so it was far from optimal.

It used to be my “veg cab”, and only recently have I been using it for flower, and every one’s been different, so I don’t really have an average to speak of.

Hopefully others will chime in with more useful info

Id say be happy with .5gpw or up. 1gpw is good for sure.

Well I did a thing we shall see how the plants respond

other than that everything is humming along just fine

Now running 330watts :shushing_face::shushing_face: in a 2 x 2 this is either gonna be magical or a horrible idea
