Depends where you are. I know a lot of the Midwest and pockets of the east coast are the opposite. I know of top shelf going for $300+ a zip around here right now. It’s an absolute drought in my area. You’re not getting too tier for any less than $200oz unless you’re going direct to a larger scale black market grower
Infact, I’m in a medical/non recreational state, but have people from Michigan (some of the most relaxed laws for recreational in the country) calling asking if I can get any. It’s super crazy out here rn. I’m assuming because California supplies like 80% of the countries black market and Michigan had a ton of flooding so the market that they cover in their tri-state isn’t getting it’s supply either. Illinois is nearby but idk what the fuck them boys are doing. Not shit as far as I can tell.
I’ll take the one off the foot-pedal & the one under the kids butt… MMmmmmm… 
Illinois is beyond backwards. At least with growing myself I can get good flower and don’t have to pay the dispensary prices. Also in my general area the street dealers want the same price for their product as the state does but without the taxes.
That’s the main reason I started growing again. I refuse to pay those kinds of prices if it isn’t 
every single time. Alas there are people with regs getting those prices and I am back to growing my own
