Oh, since I keep forgetting to mention things in here as a journal /log. Last week was 3-4 weeks since I transplanted, so l I top dressed the containers with more trifecta plus fertilizer, using 1/4 cup per plant (as per instructions for tomatoes :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:). Instead of roughing up the surface to work it in a little, I spread it evenly and filled more promix/lobster compost blend to top off the container almost to the rim. Other than what was mixed into the soil (1/4 cup per gallon of soil) and this top dressing, I’ve only used water. No cook time involved for the soil!

Day 36 update. I’ve been spraying/dunking all the plants with safer soap. Not a single mite has been seen since the first treatment, but I’m not going to let up. I took pics as I was taking the plants out of the tent for their showers tonight.

Orange goji f2 showing some seeds developing on a couple branches, but doesn’t look like pollen took well.

Godbud 2.0 the seeded buds are swelling and I can see some seeds poking through some calyx

If I didn’t over veg all these plants they would look more proportioned lol. I’ve noticed some citrus notes coming from one of them. But I wouldn’t say anything in my tent is stinking it up. I’ve heard orange goji (f1) was a stinky line, I’ll have to see since we’ve rounded the mid point on most of these! Three more week!
Gotta keep eye oh humidity and make sure these girls are drying out throughly after spraying. One more week of spraying in bloom just to be sure no mites are present. Don’t want to risk it getting wet those last two weeks. I don’t want the bud rot to show again! Luckily it’s winter and the ambient humidity is really low.

You better not, you’re in a war soldier! It’s kill or be killed at this point! :joy:

I hate those little bastards.

Only problem is, don’t know when the harvest time is on these. Parents are between 53-60 days. So if I don’t want to spray the last two weeks before harvest, I would need to stop in the bloom section after this week. It’s just soap, but I don’t want to get the rot! That was not what I wanted to find on Christmas Eve. Man is was supposed to flip these plants at New Years and waited a month longer than planned . Time needs to be made for mixing and transplanting on time in the future! Just need to get back into a rotation and make it habit. Things come out, more go in. Keep spraying and treating so nothing gets a foothold. I need to clear space to set up new tent, then the lighting and ventilation for new tent, good bye tax return.

I love showing people pics of your flowers, and then going to pictures of your lights. They’re always like, what!?!?

You rock it man. Nice work.

Honestly I can’t see a reason to change away from this type of setup!
Though I had a few people thinking they were all CFL

Also, I had a bit of a fungus gnat explosion due to all the clones I have going, I forgot to mix mosquito bits into all those little containers… then bam!

Just on aesthetic values alone… Don’t. Change. Your. Lights.
You have a funky retro vibe going and it works perfectly for you.

Ok, at some point you will look at economies and realize, yeah, you can save a little money but your lights won’t be as cool as they are right now. :+1: :+1:

Stated perfectly. I feel like they even fit his personality in some strange way. Great vibes man.

A side note, (I use some CFLs as well) when the CFL bulbs starting disappearing in the box stores, I laid in some extras as they are only rated for about 8 to 10 thousand Hrs.
Best keep a supply on hand. :+1:

I doubt the orange gogi will finish at 8 weeks. When i ran it it was a solid 10 weeker. Honestly, Its not too often i seen anything finish quicker then 70 days.

Thanks for that, wasn’t sure about the finishing time on that. There are seeded branches on it too, so I plan on harvesting in sections anyway. I’m using a pocket microscope to check trichromes.

The 4 that I have in there are just for UV and other spectrum supplementation, they’re reptile UVB bulbs from a pet store :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. I like the whole rig, it’s basically modular. I can use any bulbs I want to change spectrum and wattage.

I’m going to UVB the piss out of my grow, 4x 13w reptisun on the 4 corners and 2x 2’ solacure flower power on the light hood

I was thinking about adding a couple more to my setup too, but I think I want to do a side by side test with a set of clones to see if they make a big difference first. But I keep watching for them to go on sale at work, then get discount too hehe

Oh, I took a pic of the frosty one with just 5000k lights. Dont mind the fungus gnats, the leaves are catching more of them than the sticky trap . The clones I planted didn’t get the mosquito bits mixed in, and I had a bit of an explosion. They’ve been dealt with now.

The way I’m viewing it, is no burn, good to go. I’m going to start it slow with a hour in mid light cycle, every day going up 30m from there until im left with 8 hours a day on a 12 hour cycle
