Thoughts on Bud Rot avoidance

Hello All,

Wanted to share some luck I have had growing here in coastal Maine where is gets wet and cold early.

Vegging Indoors and then planting/moving plants outdoors has allowed the plants to have virtually no mold at the end of flower and plants can go much further into the fall without rotting out.

NL5 mom planted her outside at start of the season and molded by early Sept
NL5 mom planted/moved outside at the start of flower in Aug harvested mid Oct w/o rot
NL5 from seed planted outside at start of season and molded by early Sept
NL5 from seed planted/moved outside at start of flower in Aug and harvested mid Oct w/o rot

I also tried this with another strain and got the same results.

My thoughts on this is it may be from less spore pressure. The plants moved outside later are basically cleaner than the ones that started outside in the spring. Anyone else had similar luck or thoughts on why this may be?
