Tinytuttles 2020 grow chronicles

Is it funny that my cousins lived on Budlong? We used to walk to that scary ass park on Vernon right off the freeway, which I guess is Athens, but I considered it Gardena. When I had the aquarium store, I was in El Segundo twice a month and I love that area on the coast from Manhattan Beach on. Is your “client” in Gardena at the Hustler Casino? Just kidding  The “Fish Row” is on 104th next to the airport. Wal-Mart sized warehouses with Fish and Corals. I used to just cruise around Hawthorne to go chill at the skate park. Pros like Louie Lopez and Theotis Beasley would show up! Crazy that I probably drove right past your house many times. :open_mouth:

That’s beautiful bro. I had one of those around recently, but it wouldn’t let me get close.

Man, I’m on the porch looking at another faint rainbow I’ve had them every evening for about four or five days. My iPhony isn’t acting right atm or I would share. I might have one from a couple days ago.

I missed a crazy beautiful pic last night because of my phone. It was a short rainbow bar against dark clouds an near dusk. It came out of nowhere and was a shot of a lifetime but I missed that. It was like neon against the black clouds.

Looks like a fancier version of the monarchs I get here

Yeah, it was almost twice the size as normal when I saw the one here. It was gliding around like an airplane. Every time I got close to where it landed it took off. It was super bright, too, like that one.

Monarchs are more copper/orangish field.
With black outlines and thru the wings.
There’s actually a monarch flyaway it goes thru Iowa running parallel with I-35.

Thanks didn’t look it up til now I think we have a swallowtail then? Thoughts @OleReynard?

I’d say also the wing patterns are more resembling of a swallowtail also with the dot pattern

Appalachian tiger swallow tail looks fitting to me.

I’ll have to look. I never did. I was thinking Monarchs are on the darker side, but I honestly don’t know for sure. I did see that exact butterfly though. Only one and only once so far.
