DYNVP? I’m not sure what that is bud. I hope when you pop more seeds, you get the female ones

It’s a manual heat one-hitter vaporizer! Great vapor quality better quality high, more flavor uses way less material I’m really enjoying it no batteries or charging needed!

Awesome man. I hope it doesnt end up the same place as your pipe. Did you ever find that?

Sweet, I have that one in my collection. You started them yet?

Yup started on the 8th a bit slow popping tails I expect little older? Maybe a tough shell cover to crack? built a scuff tube yesterday to help in this area

I use something like that as well… helps a lot on seeds from certain varieties. There a bunch of other tricks I’ll use, but mostly scuffing and a splash of peroxide in my soaks.

Time to get serious and start some plants growing Under these new Sols! Taking more of a 30% @Old-Ron approach with popping some seeds! Lol going to do 3 of each and in smaller than normal pot sizes will attempt manifolding on all plant to either 4 or eight colas I have one plant from left over that’s currently in about the last step before flowering but I just may veg for awhile and do some clones to put along with the next batch

Will be running some tester from @Heritagefarms also so excited for the extra players!

Would a LABs work similar to peroxide? Is it a good idea just to scuff all seeds before you attempt to germinate? If I made a tube similar to that, what would the process be? A few shakes lightly, shake for a minute hard?

Tuttle- Do you know how much to dilute labs in water for a seed soak? The only information I could find was like 1:1000 for a soil drench. I bet you will see some great things from those Sebring seeds. Im looking forward to the cherry bomb.

I like peroxide because it kills any mold or botrytis spores that are on the shell and might infect the taproot. Also because it causes your seeds to float, which makes the unlikely to drown if you accidentally left them too long. I don’t know too much about LABs, but it might play the role of preventing mold/fungus spores from taking hold.

I don’t always scar the seeds, but if they’re old or they didn’t germinate in the first couple days, I’ll usually shake them in the sandpaper tube for 15-30s. You can go longer if you want. It would take a long time to wear through the shell completely.

That would be my recommendation 1:1000

I’ve read that some like to rotate labs and peroxide for old, hard to germ seeds. I believe it had a similar action to hydrogen peroxide.

So I can scar the seeds after a few days, if they fail to germinate. I have some special seeds I’ll be germing tomorrow that I want to take care of. I have some triple Durbans and purple paralyzer seeds I’m looking forward to. I wonder where they came from

I typically use scarification as a plan B, but you could do it every time too if you wanted. It can pretty much only help germination. If you soak for a few days first and get bupkus, you can also leave the seeds out to dry for a day, scar and soak again. I think the wet/dry cycle can help too.

I remember reading that the wet dry/ natural outside germination was someone’s favorite. It made sense the way they put it.

I personally haven’t run labs for a long time now

I may try the 1:1000 and soak them for a bit. Thanks bud.

Labs is the same. I double checked and it is supposed to deter fungus and help prevent damping off. Since our hydrogen peroxide is extremely low, and it cannot be found at the store, I’ll use my labs. Apparently there is enough in the jar, to last 47586 years, so I’m good! :joy:
