From my listening to podcast here and there iv heard that comfrey roots can get go as deep as fruit trees roots may want to consider this in placement of your next comfrey plant once it’s in its place there’s no removing it! Unless you want to dig to China! Lol

It was also mentioned that they didn’t need much soil amendments and will grow even in clay soil. What prep did you do, if any, to the soil you planted it in?

Ya my entire areas soil profile is heavy clay the bed their in has been amended with organic material for a better part of 5-7 years it’s nice and loose to a depth of about a foot or so

Heavy clay here in Trinidad area. I’m going to make my adobe bricks to build a horno stove. My next door neighbor is a master adobe builder, from Chihuahua originally. He’s gonna show me how and give me the forms to use to make the bricks… should be fun…I just dig a hole out back and mix up the mud with some straw and water… good clay!

Yep, you can feel me, too. I’m so not wanting any winter at this point. It’s so damn cool every morning that it’s been on my mind. But, on the other hand, it goes to 90+ each day, too.
But, thank you oh, Tiny Tuttle - weather god and see-er of all… You have granted me at least one good night of sleep.

heh, you get it! My perfect temps… well, maybe a few degrees cooler at night… but that is perfect stuff there. Enjoy!.. knowing that you may really be a 1 per center after all… 
Actually, I can see it in the plants in your thread, too. They look happy and healthy. Environment is a major part of the successful cannabis equation… well, any plant.

Nova Scotia is great ATM, 75-80 days 60-65 nights. Don’t get much better than that. I wish it was like this all year. Hoping it will continue into October, but doubt we will get that lucky.
