85-90 next 10 days here with lows around 60. Do you live close to the border? Seems cool.

@oleskool830, that little thing is cute as a bug. They waste no time getting those digger claws up frontā€¦ They migrated all the way out to Alabama, and Georgia, I think.

I am 2 hours from international falls, MN.
In the heart of the lakes region.

Yep, that would explain it. I never made it up there but have been to St.Cloud and St. Paul. I drove over from Montana once with a work buddy who was from there. You guys definitely get the coldest environment in the lower 48 I would venture to guess.

And, I worked a good bit in North Dakotaā€¦ It was a wonderful experience and I had some great years, but, I love the latitude Iā€™m at now.

I think North Dakota is just a tad worse.

Well after being gone for a week watering schedule was left up the the wife things arenā€™t looking to bad colas are fattening up have some aphid issues I have to deal with so will be hitting them with a soap spray over the next few days the other thing to report is that my plants look to be mostly seeded at this pointā€‹:rage: probably from nearby hemp fields so Iā€™m not happy with that but the frost stills seems to be coming on pretty good

Welcome back! The plants looks awesome. But, I hear you about the seeds. I think I pollinated my early flowering plants and maybe even some of the new ones. But Iā€™m getting some pollenā€¦

I have pollen to take tomorrow from 5 males and paint buds on 5 different strains, and then get rid of the males. I plan on marking buds with flagging at the point I pollinate so I know seeds above that are the same strain. The other earlier males are long gone now.

At least Iā€™ll have seeds to share with peeps around here, and hopefully come out of it with a small library of male pollen.

Hey, @Sebring may want to take those seeds off of you! Maybe you have created the next best CBD/THC med bomb! peace

Iā€™d be willing to run them and see what they can do.
Do we know if itā€™s CBD hemp or just seed oil hemp?

Iā€™ll see if I can get some information for you regarding the name of the farm they were formally CSA that closed down due to bankruptcy their land was considered organic certified if Iā€™d were to guess Iā€™d say there is probably 300 acres in size not sure about what there running out there ru saying that not all hemp is used for CBD?

Ya the revenge plant is about the only one I didnā€™t check but will for ya and report back ā€¦

@Sebring yes the revenge plant is seeded BTW/

Wow, I thought those hemp farms had to control their pollination somewhat. That might even make it hard to grow indoors. Maybe you can find out who it is and coordinate with them.

@Sebring Found this article interesting know a bit more about it now ā€¦ my guess is that nearby fields are probably for seed and or fiber ā€¦ what that articles states is that for CBD production no males can be in the fields at all which makes sense which leads me to believe that these arenā€™t CBD fields . Makes me wonder at this point if I can even get close to a Sinsemilla crop? I may be doomed from year to year !:rage: didnā€™t have issues last year only from my own pollenating technique. Wondering if this is the first year for them? Havenā€™t seen these fields last year but didnā€™t really look for them either?

What yā€™all think my best options for next year are? Quick maturing autos perhaps before the damn pollen starts flying?

I met a guy a week or so ago who owns his own crop management company. He uses drones to spray the plots with microbes and also to pollinate the CBD hemp. He was telling me about a lot of strict zoning regarding males and pollination. It would be worth finding someone in the local industry, like an association or whatever.

Maybe his crop was for seeds onlyā€¦ not sureā€¦ itā€™s all greek to me.
