Turned out pretty good @Tinytuttle👍 looks like the wicks worked pretty well. Do you use cotton string or something else? I’m hoping things are going ok for you brother.
Hey @Hashtree good to see ya! The first ones I played with with the innards of paracord,the second and the best so far was the thicker Mason Line string. Now with the new pots and wick I think we’re 1/2 and 3/8 Is what I’m thinking. All were nylon ; I think nylon wicks faster imo

Cotton rots but how quick depends on the weave and environment, I know I started looking into fire wicks after trying plain cloth with my mini tub grow I did years back.

I use mine for pH correction, as leftover can be consumed by the plant.
But they be making soap.
Didn’t think of that … one small bottle of dry crystals diluted out in a solution would be a life time supply of PH up!
Well depending on the nutrients yeah, at a 10g per 100ml ratio im currently using say with Megacrop for example it takes maybe 2-3 drops per liter for correction which is nothing, but say Maxibloom i need a dropper at least per liter which is 15+ drops just cause of its lower pH and buffering agents they add, mind you it stays more stable because of that vs MC
