Dear Diary: I’m starting a new run. It’s the first not bulk/auto I do. My objectives:
a) get selected F3 seeds from F2 seeds generously donated by @bigLblazed
b) get some flowers free from seeds
Strain: I’m still deciding. Both are F2 from a BigBlazed done over grower Bodhi original drops.
a) Hashplant-D (chem d x 88g13hp)
b) Sensistar x appalachia
This is the general schedule starting from today (germination, vegetation targeted pollination, and finally end of flowering):
From 15/dec until ~08/January I am out. Growbox must be in autopilot. I did this before having mixed results. This time I’ll prepare the growbox 2 weeks prior in order to detect problems.

Dear Diary Today I prepared the soil for the seedlings. I have standard organic soil and added bokachi. Nothing more. I tested before having good results. To avoid high temperatures from fermentation I started the fertilization today. Lot’s of water poured, like 5~6 liters and the soil is holding without leaking.
I also decided to use in this run F2 Sensistar x Appalachia. I put them to germinate. I also found some problems in my previous schedule. And if not enough I added some new objectives. I’ll post them later. For now I’ll watch the seeds germinate and maintain the soil mild wet.
Dear Diary: I decided to subtract ~1 week from vegetation period and add it to flowering in order to safely get pollen and pollinate. I also decided to add something to the run: clone the female plants and store extra pollen to create another F3 in the future.

Dear diary: seeds are germinating nicely. Got 14 from 15. I’ll let them stay in moisture another day to help the shell get out. I don’t want helmet heads but i also want to put in vase. Another day seems ok.
Dear diary: I checked the seeds. Shells could be easily removed and now they are in pots. 14 seeds emerged by if you see there are 15 pots. One seed didn’t make it but one seed produced 2 seedlings. Never saw this before. Anyway, I finished the first step with success.
Dear diary: Got some bio soil. I’ll let it dry as much as possible to get rid of pests. Prevention is better then dealing with pests. Bokachi is going to be added at some point later.
Dear diary Day 11. Seeds are now small plants growing well. The summer is not intense but give enough light for this stage. I also prepared the soil with bokashi. 15 pots poured with water to let the microorganisms do some work.
