Tips for cleaning LED Cobs or q boards?

Busy doing a big cleanup in my flower room and I notice a bug or 2 has gotten onto the cobs lights. Not sure what I can safely use to clean them off? Dont want to mess up the coating etc. on them.

Isopropyl alcohol, or ethanol. Lightly swab with a cotton swab.

I suggest compressed air to clean electronics.

I’d add the caveat that it’s CANNED air- air compressors like you might have at home are great for blowing off damn near anything but electronics. They can spray water all over, albeit in small amounts, that said, leave it to dry?

I blow out electronics with a 200PSI compressor on the regs.
Get a cheap $100 compressor, or even better and more fun, build one, crank it to 200pounds with a precision pressure increasing nozzle to just blow bits of crap off whatever you want.
Never get to 200 and start hauling off on the trigger, though. Short spurts.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. I’ll try blast the bugs off with air 1st then try the isopropyl if that doesnt help.

Even if the iso alone doesn’t do it, hit it with air again. Might have dissolved whatever nastiness was holding it on.
