TLDR: As someone with a lot of experience with Sour Bubble, Tony has exactly what you need.
This is my short review of Tony’s Weighted Blanket. I have grown the Sour Bubble Bx3 and bx4 and I have smoked pounds of BOGs Sour Bubble mother cut grown by BOG himself so I really know what I want from a Sour Bubble reproduction.
Pheno 1- This one was the star of the show and easily a keeper. You can see it has similar morphology to the bx1 and in my opinion this is what you should look for in this line. I didn’t end up keeping it because I got really sick and couldn’t maintain my garden. BOGs mother cuts terpene profile was still one of the most unique and one of my all time favorites. It is a very distinct lime/wintergreen/vanilla/chocolate/coffee and a hint of skunk. It is one of the only terpene profiles that I’m aware of that actually has both vanilla and chocolate in it. This pheno was 80 percent there lacking only the coffee and hint of skunk. Instead it had hint of berry after taste( like the other two phenos). The high was also spot on and It was almost as potent as BOGs mother cutting. It had almost the same intense potency. This was exactly what I was hoping to find and I found it in about 5 seeds.
Phenos 2 and 3- Both of these were almost identical and had the taste of mostly the fruit elements of bogbubble with all the spice elements taken out. If you look up a natural approximation of bubblegum flavor you see it’s a mix of fruit and spices. This tastes like someone only included the fruit elements. It also had a distinct berry aftertaste that was the same as the slight berry aftertaste in pheno 1. I assume this is the result of isolating the purple/black pheno. This was not nearly as potent as pheno one and if I had only gotten these phenos I may have given up on this particular line. It’s not that they weren’t good it’s just that they aren’t what I think of when I think of Sour Bubble.
